I use Certent Disclosure Management for preparing financial reports and disclosures. I appreciate how it reduces manual work in financial reporting by automating validations, tie-outs, and date roll-forwards, saving our team a lot of time. The biggest benefit for me is the time savings—once the workflows are set up, rolling forward documents is quick and the automated validation helps catch date and tie-out issues. It makes the reporting process much faster and more reliable, handling repetitive steps while validations automatically catch issues, allowing us to spend less time checking small details and more on analysis. The main area for improvement is document setting and formatting. Setting up a new document can take some time, and page spacing issues can sometimes be difficult to fix compared with a regular word document. The setup could be more intuitive and faster, especially for new documents. Formatting issues like extra space at the top of pages could be easier to adjust, similar to how it works in Word.
