"Perfect for Streamlining Technical Deployment Management"
4/5
What do you like best about CentralStationCRM?

I really appreciate CentralStationCRM's clean, no-bloat design and the flexibility of its custom fields, which fit my workflow as a System Deployment Engineer perfectly. I can build custom fields to log essential technical details like server model numbers, firewall port configurations, and VideoMost Server version numbers. This feature was particularly valuable during our deployment with Summit Business Partners, helping me access critical information quickly without digging through old project folders. I also love the built-in task and reminder system for scheduling post-deployment health checks and maintenance. The reminders pop up automatically, so I never miss follow-up audits. The chronological activity log is another huge plus, as it records every call, configuration change, or support ticket update in order. This makes it easy for my colleagues to step in and handle client support when I’m busy. The interface is simple, easy to navigate, and doesn't require extensive training sessions. CentralStationCRM focuses on practical record-keeping without unnecessary features, which reduces stress in my technical deployment and client support work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CentralStationCRM?

Even though CentralStationCRM serves our client project tracking needs well for our system deployment work at Prime Data Solutions, there are a few frustrating limitations that regularly eat into my troubleshooting time. The biggest pain point is the weak file attachment system with no built-in document preview. As a deployment engineer, I constantly upload network topology drawings, VideoMost Server configuration backups and firewall rule sheets for every client project. When we finished setting up the multi-branch video system for Summit Business Partners, I uploaded all their network config files directly to their CRM profile. A few weeks later their IT team reached out with intermittent video packet loss between offices. I went into CentralStationCRM to pull up their deployment documentation, only to find I could not view any of the PDFs or config files inside the platform. I had to download each file one by one to compare their live settings with the original deployment blueprint. That took nearly an hour of valuable troubleshooting time that I could have spent fixing their connection issue. I also find the reporting and task filtering options very limited. The default reports are built around sales metrics and don’t support filtering by server deployment date or upcoming maintenance cycles. Every month I need to compile a list of clients due for VideoMost Server quarterly firmware audits. There’s no pre-built report for this, so I have to manually go through every client profile and copy information into an Excel sheet. This manual work adds up fast. The notification system is also pretty basic; it can’t mark high-priority technical tickets separately. I once almost missed a critical firmware upgrade reminder for Summit Business Partners because the CRM treated it the same as routine low-priority follow-up tasks. None of these flaws make the platform unusable, but improving file previews, custom engineering reports and priority alerting would save me hours of manual labor every single month.
