What do you like best about CEMS?

Ability to ensure meeting emission standards. As an added benefit, any unwanted emission being indicated will alert us on inefficient process control that can save us money in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CEMS?

The sensor maintenance can be troublesome, expensive and often problematic if the right detection technology was not selected during engineering design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering CEMS:

Check on your local regulations regarding emission standards and then design the CEMS appropriately. Also do conduct studies on suitable sensor technology to prevent maintenance issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CEMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our local DOE monitors the emission from our gas plants and any non-compliance will result in fines. CEMS helps us to prevent this from happening. Also as mentioned above, CEMS can act as an early indicator of incomplete or improper process control that resulted in unwanted emission release.
