## Casebook Reviews
  ### 1. A Life-Changer for Digitizing Client Tracking—Easy to Navigate and Customize

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda C. | Director of Restorative Responses, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

It has been a life changer for our organization. We’ve been able to become largely digitized, assign tasks to our staff, and personalize how we want our data organized. It only took a few weeks for us to get trained and set everything up in a way that best fits our organizational needs. Throughout our time with Casebook, we’ve also been able to make revisions to the layout as needed, and it has been supportive of updates to our procedures. Overall, it’s been useful for keeping track of our clients and is easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

Some of the newer features have been harder to use, especially the texting feature and getting it to upload correctly to the client’s file/data. Adding emails has also been challenging. In those situations, we often end up relying on paper files or taking screenshots and uploading those instead.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that I’m kept well informed about any changes or upgrades that take place. It may take a moment to get used to a new layout, but once I do, it’s still easy to navigate. I also find it useful to add service plans now that the process has been revised.

  ### 2. Information in one place and many useful features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan N. | Manager of Adult Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I appreciate being able to look up a participant and quickly access all the information I need in one place. Connecting it to my work email also lets me send messages from my regular work account through Casebook, which makes communication much easier. I really like being able to schedule appointments and add them directly to the calendars of everyone who’s invited. On top of that, the support team responds very quickly to questions and suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

In the past, the app was very slow whenever it autosaved a note. They’ve recently updated this, so I’m hopeful it’s improved. I’ll keep in touch with them if it still needs any further tweaking.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Casebook helps us keep most of our participant information on one platform, It can be accessed by the necessary team members when they need to look up or add information.

  ### 3. Real-Time, User-Friendly System That Meets Our Needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie M. | Family Preservation Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I like that it is real-time! I like that I am able to enter information in, and it is user-friendly. Staff was able to learn the system quickly and it meets our current needs.I also like that it was easy to implement with the team; there is always customer support there for us. We use the system daily, and it makes case management easy. This system was easy to integrate, as we were previously using multiple spreadsheets and documents with a lot of double-entry of data.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

There is no recovery for lost data or accidental deletion. I also don't particularly like the reporting (spreadsheets are vital and could be improved). More features would make this beneficial for our agency.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to effectively and more efficiently manage our family preservation cases. We are able to set standards without double-entry of data.

  ### 4. Highly Configurable, Needs Improved Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terry B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I like the ability to define the fields in Casebook. That's huge because it allows us to really configure it to our specific needs. The dynamic pages and fields that can be defined by yes, no, multiple choice, and drop-down options really help when trying to keep track of things like social determinants of health. It also allows us to do statistics and analysis based on what we are learning about our participants.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

The biggest thing that Casebook could improve is making the note sections speech-to-text. It would make the ease of use much better because it would be so much easier to speak your notes rather than type them, especially on a computer. Also, the initial setup was tedious, as the import function is really complex. We couldn't import our data smoothly and had to manually enter basic participant info. Even a year later we are still entering fine details for cases begun before we initiated casebook.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Casebook provides one place for the team to work, reducing data entry on multiple spreadsheets. I like the ability to define fields, which lets us configure it to our specific needs, aiding in statistics and analysis based on participant data.

  ### 5. Efficient Student Information Management, Needs Note Organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Newana N. | Parole Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I like that everyone in our company can access and look at notes to meet with students. I also appreciate being able to easily update various information points, such as demographic details for students, because they often move or change phone numbers. The initial setup of Casebook was pretty easy for our team of eight.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

With the session notes, they would not be in order and there’s not a preview.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Casebook lets everyone in our company access notes to meet with students. I can easily update student demographics, which change often, keeping records current and accessible.

  ### 6. Centralized Case Management, Needs Workflow Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I like that all of my details are in one space with Casebook. This feature allows me to quickly review before a session and locate how to contact a person easily. It really helps with remembering what my clients talked about and how to contact them.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

The flow of things are sometimes messed up. It can be confusing to have to create and submit intakes before a case is made. I would like to be able to create the intake report and case at the same time. It was confusing at first.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Casebook to record client case notes, helping me remember client conversations and quickly find contact information. All my details are in one space, allowing for swift review before sessions.

  ### 7. Organized Documentation, But Cost and Non-Chronological Dates Are Frustrating

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

The best part about casebook is the documentation and how organized it is for where my notes and forms go.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

I think the downside is the cost of casebook over time. I think another thing is my dates don't go in order of the dates they were written. It is not chronologically in order.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m not sure whether there are any business problems this is actually trying to solve. I think it helps overall keep things in order for the business.

  ### 8. Build Your Own Forms and Run Reports with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

not being able to submit medical claims through software

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 9. Detailed Case Options, But Student Search Needs Better Filters

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I like that it provides very detailed options for cases

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

I dislike how I can’t organize the cases in a certain way when searching for students. It would be nice to have a filter in the search engine

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Casebook is solving note taking for me. It is an organized way to see all my session notes

  ### 10. Casebook’s Organized, Customizable Setup Makes Managing Information Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Domingo M. | Life Coach II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I enjoy how organize Casebook is and how you can modify it to include the information you need!

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

The required parameters make it hard to submit forms and person profiles.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the need to gather the demographic info for the students we serve.
