## Cascade Reviews
  ### 1. Easy to use, customizable, great service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyla S. | D, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade was easy to start using. It's very intuitive. I like the options to present in different ways - in an "org chart" format, in a gantt chart or as a list.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Not much. It has a lot of options for integration and dashboards that we haven't used yet as the rest of our systems are dated.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are holding people accountable in a very visible manner.

  ### 2. Strategy Exemplified

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade created an ecosystem for strategy alignment, tracking and execution for our institution.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Integrations have been more challenging than expected, but the team supporting the integration has worked with us side by side to complete intergrations.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cascade allows us to display departmental contributions to our mission, vision and annual operating plan. Historically this information has intersected but has not been shown or tracked in one place.

  ### 3. Systematizing Strategy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua L. | Principal Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Creating a centralized space where strategic alignment can be visualized, tracked, reported against is a huge benefit. This tool helps people from all levels of the organization see how they are contributing to the vision of the company.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

The biggest challenge is that Cascade is so cutting edge that it takes some extra work to get buy-in from people who should be using it. Modeling a strategic plan with this level of detail and intentionality is not the norm, so some people need a bit of convincing.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Cascade in a very large organization (22,000 people). The problem that we're solving is creating alignment between the strategic plans of various sub-organizations and the overall company strategic plan. Cascade makes it easier to visualize the complex nature of multiple strategic plans being active simultaneously while ensuring they stay aligned.

  ### 4. Easy Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clare P. | Customer Experience Programme Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

The snapshots and notifications. Also Ariel gave a great introduction and has been very helpful since

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Easy to get overwhelmed with too much information

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to manage a large amount of projects and share progress with my collegues

  ### 5. Easy to use, visible and accountable - the best tool we have found to facilitate our global strategy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johanna B. | Group Strategy and Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

The customer support has been outstanding working with me build our strategy using custom features, which is important when bringing in a new business tool. This support has been extended to the executive team, making it easy for me, the strategy owner, to engage our executive team to use Cascade. Prior to using Cascade it was cumbersome to update progress against targets and having the visibility and accountability across the team has given the team confidence that as a business we will be able to make meaningful progress to achieve our 2025 Vision. Cascade means that we can focus on delivering against the strategy rather than spending too much time setting goals and targets in tools not designed for this purpose.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

At this stage I wouldn't say I have found any part of the tool I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

Cascade has made documenting the strategy 100 times easier than the tool we had so we can spend our efforts actually delivering the strategy rather than trying to finish the plan visibility and resulting accountability across teams is also going to mean we will do a better job delivering against our goals.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all teams across the business accountable through greater visibility on activity.

Offering a tool that is super intuitive so that executives are more inclined to update greater detail and targets and as a team we can track our progress and act on concerns. This means we can do a better job at delivering against our strategic goals.

  ### 6. Cascade helped instill confidence and momentum in our strategic planning process.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Luke Bennrubi and his team, who have been incredibly capable and present.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

We've had a great experience so far and have had no downsides.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-institutional collaboration and communication.

  ### 7. Excellent, top notch service. Very experienced Consultant.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sithembiso D. | Executive Support & Strategy Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Excellent service and good guidance by Consultant

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

None at the moment but will probably experience such as I carry on using the Strategy platform

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

Best Strategy Management Tool in the market

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to follow up on Strategic projects / Initiatives and also the ability to have reports (dashboards) to engage with

  ### 8. Amazing Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David J. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

It is very user-friendly with amazing templates to help you get started easily on drawing your strategy.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Nothing honestly, everything is clear and works completely fine.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To have a strategy for the department and the company as a whole, I am starting mainly to use it for laying down our strategy.

  ### 9. It's made my life so much easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max F. | Assistant Brand Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

- My team and I love the Microsoft teams integration. We do everything on Teams so being able to update our goals directly through Teams was a game-changer.
- When our boss used to ask us to report on the strategy, it would be the worst news possible 😂. That would mean weeks of chasing people, compiling data and building a nonsensical powerpoint presentation. We don't have to do anything now because he's got an automatic report with our regular updates.
- I can see how my goals impact the objectives my bosses have set.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

- We've just got our team on it at the moment. Looking forward to getting the others on it so we can start tagging them on projects we're collaborating on.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- My bosses wanted us to have visibility on how we would move in the direction they wanted.
- Reduce manual work involved in strategy progress reporting
- Not sure if they were trying to solve this but engagement is definitely up!

  ### 10. 10/10. It's made strategy so much easier.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lachlan W. | Associate Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Our strategy was previously all over the place. It lived in a number of PowerPoint docs that only management would read. We'd only revisit it quarterly and it was generally a scramble to link our actions for the quarter back to the strategy. The reports were a lot of effort but provided no real insight for the next quarter.

Cascade has simplified all of that. Everyone knows exactly what they need to do to achieve our objectives and the dashboards and snapshots make it easy to stay on top of it and change direction if needed. It feels like strategy is top of mind for our teams now.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

There were some small bugs at the start but we mentioned them to our support and they were fixed within the week. That's all I can think. The product is fantastic.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every year, we've struggled to implement our plans. There's been a disconnect between what we set out to achieve and what our teams are working on. Cascade has brought visibility and alignment. Our team members are all talking about strategy now!

  ### 11. Cascade strategy review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade strategy is a really clear way to plan, organise and track your company strategy. It is very intuitive and easy to use and has lots of great features, especially the goal tracking function and reporting dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

One thing that I find slightly difficult is the way the goals sometimes jump around when you are trying to drag and drop them to different places. You need to be really careful and precise otherwise goals can get lost or end up in the wrong place.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits we have realised through using Cascade include clear and precise tracking of objectives and KPIs, as well as easily being able to share overviews and reports with the team.

  ### 12. Super user-friendly intuitive transparent strategy execution tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greer H. | Principal Advisor to the CEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

It's the only tool in our organisation that provides a birds-eye view of our complete change portfolio and how what we are investing in is balanced across our strategic plan.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Haven't encountered any downsides yet! I think the next iteration will want to rival true ppm tools as you have alot of this functionality already and then the 3 layers are covered (portfolio, programme and project).

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the need for us to be able to communicate effectively and in a visually appealing way what the totality of our change programme looks like in relation to our strategic focus areas to our stakeholders. This has been a challenge previously because health is complex.

  ### 13. Cascade experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AbdelNasser G. | Data and Research Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade initially came recommended by a colleague, and I had a chance to thank him for it yesterday because I've had a very positive experience overall. Joseph, Laura, and Max have been incredibly helpful from initial contact through to onboarding and usage support, and the software itself is remarkably streamlined, sleek, and user-friendly. I'm thrilled with it.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

I would like to see the tracking chart bit of the goals and objectives become a bit more simple to use and shareable, but that's me being pedantic.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped a lot with strategy rollout, visualisation and implementation, and the snapshot/dashboard section is to die for. It helps with communication among leadership and staff.

  ### 14. Easy to use tool, great support from Jono our Customer Success Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy v. | Service Delivery Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

What I like best is that the strategy helps us to get really clear on what we are trying to achieve and what our main goals are.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

I like this product, there is nothing I can think of that I dislike.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More focus on our outputs. Better articulation of our goals.

  ### 15. Connecting strategy to results.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

I appreciate how the platform is not clunky, easy to navigate, and visually appealing. I also appreciate the different views and reports that can be generated.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

If there were an integration with email platforms to allow for deliverable updates via email (e.g., completing a google form within the email), that would help with pushing users to regularly update their goals (besides the generic email that says to update them.)

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

- more integration with email and slack
- assistance with improving deliverables and KPIs
- community building with other users of the software for best practices on how to leverage the features.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Appropriate Work distribution
- Transparency in progress to goals

The platform has been helpful in timestamping where the organization is and keeping us on track.

  ### 16. A great tool to monitor the movement of strategies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakshita A. | Performance Assessor and Evaluator , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

The visual representation and clarity of where our strategies stand at any point in time. The best part of Cascade Strategy is the Snapshot for reports as well as the Knowledge Base for instant help/guide.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Probably more features/widgets for dashboard reporting would be awesome. Nothing to dislike so far, customer support is also very prompt.

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

Highly recommended for its ability to give a bird's-eye view over our goals and generate instant reports.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More convenient to track teams' progress and status in comparison to an excel sheet.

  ### 17. Cascade has exceeded my expectations for our organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

I love Danielle Latimore and the responsiveness of everyone I've interacted with - we're still in our first year with Cascade so I like that it's intuitive and I'm excited about more possibilities. I'm impressed by the apparent commitment to grow and expand and provide more improvements, features and integrations

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Onboarding less technically able members of our team. I would love if there were more formatting features for reports (cosmetic possibilities not functional options)

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

We researched Strategic Management software extensively - Cascade came out ahead on all of what we were looking for. Their employees are extremely helpful, encouraging and responsive

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

opportunity for more collaboration and less duplication of strategies within teams -

  ### 18. Moving into proactive digital management of Strategy execution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Being able to tailor the use of the features to our specific requirements with very limited restrictions.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Not being able to customise the workboard

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moving away from long reports and creatin greater visibility on progress

  ### 19. Great strat planner with great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade allows our entire team to organize all of our goals/objectives with dates/KPI's to see what is happening across all areas of the business. I am impressed with the updates and support. I prefer working with a person, Sarah has been great! Like any software program, once you get past the initial learning curve, you can see how well designed and easy to use this program is. Going into our second year, Cascade is proven as a solid strat planner with full features.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

No downside or dislike once you understand that Cascade is not a Project Managment program (although it provides alot of features in this area).

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alignment and reporting are now fully realized.

  ### 20. Chief of Staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Akanksha! She met with me as often as I needed to get through tough spots.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

The cost. We are a small nonprofit so we are always looking for ways to cut costs.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weekly reports for directors

  ### 21. Great tool to manage strategy and remove silos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

It's an easy to use platform that covers all stages - planning, executing and tracking. It's so easy to be agile and adapt to any changes while ensuring everyone is kept informed.

Great reporting and tracking capabilities.

Very flexible

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Nothing as of now. We initially had a couple of feature requests for which we voted and gave feedback. They were actually able to deliver those features!

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

Make good use of the content available and customer experience team. They have a lot of content resources (videos, interviews, articles) for help and their support team is prompt with answers in case you get stuck anywhere.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hitting our strategic goals. During the first full quarter of implementing Cascade, we were shocked to have only hit 35% of our strategic goals. We hadn't been tracking this number properly over the years and this was the first time we had a tangible number to look at. The next quarter though, we were tracking our numbers frequently and identifying risks, opportunities early on through Cascade. This allowed us to hit about 73% of our goals. This was huge for us.

Planning and execution can get complicated - especially in an organization like ours where everyone is stuck in silos, multiple product lines etc. But Cascade helps to break the complexity into simpler blocks. It gave structure and clarity to the teams. They were able to see how their work impacts business outcomes and that led to an increase in engagement and ownership.

We are more organized, transparent, and efficient now. Our organization is on the way to being a well-oiled machine.

  ### 22. Keep your strategy on track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jameson C. | Director of Growth Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade provides the focus our team needs to execute our strategic plan. It's proven to make decisions easier to say no to if it does not align with our vision or objectives.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

I haven't come across anything which I have not liked yet.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping the team focused.

  ### 23. Easy, intuitive, effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reed J. | Customer Business Lead, Albertsons Companies, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade makes moving from ideas to action easy. Execution is often overlooked by large strategy consultancies. Cascade puts execution at the heart of the focus

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Nothing. The product has only improved over time.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Effective execution of strategy across org with easy tracking

  ### 24. Excellent Strat Plan software, great collab tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Buzz T. | Director, Hypersonic Propulsion Strategy & BD, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Software is very intuitive and flexible. Gives my team great options for creating, updating, and maintaining strategic plans, goals, objectives, tasks, risks, etc. Collaboration tools within the software, along with a multitude of integrations, make keeping teams in the loop easy.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

So far, I haven't realized any drawbacks.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest benefit is putting our strategic plan(s) in a clear, concise, visually stunning format that makes it easy to see progress and show our organization the "so what" of why we are undertaking the goals and objectives in the plan. It also provides a means to show our workforce how they fit into said strategies and allows us to tie individual goals to organizational goals.

  ### 25. Cascade is an easy to use tool for planning your strategy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janet F. | University Librarian, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade is a thoughtfully designed tool to help an organisation plan its strategy and develop a workplan. The planning and technical support from Cascade are exceptional.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

It can be easy to forget how to do things if you don't regularly update, which is why having support from Cascade is so important!

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

Consider how it fits with your other practices/technical tools.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Cascade to ensure that leadership team members are clear in what work they are responsible for and how this work contributes to the overall strategy. This has helped keep us on track and contributes to reporting.

  ### 26. Easy to use - helps keep our team focused on executing our strategy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan R. | Research and Analytics Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade helps everyone on our team see how their regular tasks relate to the organization's goals and strategies. Personal work boards, snapshots, and dashboards help keep people focused on what they need to do to help propel their team forward.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Goal tracking can take a little while to understand fully - but if you spend the time to learn it, the different methods of tracking goals are VERY helpful.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A couple of the largest benefits we have seen is transparency between teams (in regards to team strategies) and easier collaboration between teams on goals that overlap.

  ### 27. I can finally track my strategic plan

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Can track, update, and report all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Currently there is nothing that I dislike about Cascade

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've realised that by not tracking and updating our goals, the strategic plan was impossible to achieve

  ### 28. Cascade takes the mystery out of reporting, communicating, and monitoring strategy execution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis D. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Visibility of strategy execution in a simple, clear and concise format.
Ability to create reports for the Board to showcase implementation and highlight areas of risk, achievement and celebration.
Easy to use dashboards for individuals and teams.
Sophisticated yet clear, easy reporting tools to aid C-level reports on strategy implementation.
Cascade enables everyone in your team with ownership of the strategy and business plans. Cascade empowers the team to implement through easy communications, ease of use, and regular individual input.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

We have yet to find a downside! Using Cascade Strategy did highlight areas for improvement within the design of our own strategy and annual business priorities.
We have a complex seven-year strategy when reviewing outside of Cascade. It has 11 high Level goals with 67 associated strategic objectives. There are over 200 priority actions and metrics. Cascade has highlighted areas of duplication or overlap. The dislikes that I have found are more to do with the issues in our Strategy which Cascade has highlighted and enabled us to put some structure around to assist us.

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

Perfection is the enemy of action. Get your strategy uploaded, a team of champions trained, and begin rolling it out. No organisation's strategy is perfect, and yours will not be perfect in Cascade. As your strategy or business plans evolve, Cascade has the ability to evolve with you. We spent too long at the outset trying to get our strategy 100% in Cascade which slowed rollout. Speed trumps perfection, as it will evolve and grow as your team being to get comfortable with the platform.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously used various tools to report to the Board on strategy implementation, from word documents to 11-sheet excel documents. You could not see the wood from the trees. Cascade enabled clarity in quarterly board reports. Cascade provides confidence to management that implementation is progressing as planned. Cascade easily identifies risk areas for attention. Most importantly, Cascade empowers everyone in the team with individual workboards, input and visibility to see their contribution towards strategy achievement.

  ### 29. Strategy Planning and Execution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Easy and clean user interface. Very logical to follow how everything can be mapped out.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Not exactly a dislike, but it is another workplace collaboration tool to train colleagues on and introduces another step in their daily workflow.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're looking to have one central area and tool to track our strategic and growth initiatives and allow our teams to easily update on progress and results so our org can easily understand execution and thus value creation

  ### 30. Excellent Strategic Plan/Project Management Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade's tool to build your strategic plan/project and track the implementation and progress is robust, user-friendly, and exciting to use. They have an excellent support team that responds quickly to requests. They also assist us with finding the most efficient way to layout our strategic plan for optimal use of the product and tracking progress.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

If you don't use both sides of the product (building the plan and tracking the project), it can be challenging to get a prebuilt plan into their system for proper tracking.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many organizations develop a strategic plan but do not have a way to track the implementation of the plan. This is a beautifully designed system (with regular updates to keep it current with ever-evolving technology) that, if used properly, can help any organization track its success in accomplishing its goals.

  ### 31. Cascade completely transforms organizational approach to strategy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle M. | Sr. Advisor, Strategy, Hospital & Health Care, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade has a user-friendly approach in both design and communication. The ease of use is welcome across all our associates, and their input is actually used to upgrade and further the experience. The organization takes a hands-on approach to educating our associates, and they have been more than flexible in accommodating our schedules, challenges, and barriers.

Cascade routinely identities ways to strengthen our working relationship and provide suggestions in our strategy implementation. We've had a lot of support from Cascade that other organizations in our system have adopted the platform. Simply put, they're dedicated, professional, and innovative.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

As a newer company, there is missing functionality in terms of smaller-scale project management, assignment, and tracking like Asana or another type of project-oriented platform. There are opportunities for improvement by designing a short-term approach that integrates with their longer-term design.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization has found several opportunities to strengthen alignment across our health system. We're able to organize our organizational and system strategy and transform how others have historically disseminated the information.

The platform has also encouraged us to re-organize and integrate our data internally, which has helped us narrow our focus to key and priority metrics.

  ### 32. Core component of management within our busines to ensure strategy is aligned across the whole team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damian F. | Investment Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Flexibility - can make it as simple or as complex as you like; used by most key people in the organisation; once set up is super easy to use; helps us really think about our strategy and make sure everyone is on the same page; helps more junior staff members understand why what they are doing is incredibly important.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

It definitely requires a commitment of time/resources initially to get set up, but once you have everything in there its easy to manage on an ongoing basis.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Focusing on the tasks that matter the most (not the ones that are necessarily due right now); ensuring there isn't double up or gaps within the organisation in the work we are doing.

  ### 33. Very useful and interactive strategy execution tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Very user-friendly tool that allows us to visualise and share all the elements of our strategy.
The “snapshots” feature makes it really easy to compile and produce reports in seconds… no need to spend countless hours on spreadsheets!

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Nothing to report so far! The team has been very helpful with all the concerns and questions.

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

Most comprehensive tool out there to align your teams from monthly projects to the company’s overarching strategic objectives.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re now able to visualise the connection and alignment from everyone’s granular tasks (daily operations) to the company’s overall objectives.
Cascade also allowed us to eliminate siloes and focus on the work that matters and has an impact on our company’s strategic goals.

  ### 34. Recommend Cascade

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul D. | Vice President, Operations and Information Systems , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

The use of use and implementation. It was easy to implement and even easier to administer. Was able to figure most things out without any support or training. But when I did have questions the knowledge base and/or customer success staff where able to resolve my questions/issue in minutes.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

I wish there was a way to track a KPI as a steady state, ie maintain 85% coverage or something like that. KPIs seem to all have a start and end point without the ability to track a level.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the ability of board reporting. It was a huge manual effort in the past to collect progress reports, aggregate the data, and put it into a presentation. Now with the click of a button I can generatemy report, PDF it, and include it in the board package.

  ### 35. Granite Construction Company - Strategic Planning with Cascade

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pat K. | Strategy Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade provides more details and let's us track the progress on our strategic plans more quantitatively, which is very powerful.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

No real downside to using Cascade so far. Perhaps getting everyone up to speed with using the software and accessing all of the features, which can take some time.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being more honest with ourselves on how we are progressing with our strategic plan initiatives and tactics. Using Cascade has been a catalyst for action on our strategic initiatives for sure.

  ### 36. Very happy: have often recommended Cascade to others

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander F. | Strategy / Technology Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade Strategy is highly effective in doing what is promised. It facilitates us in collaboratively defining and reviewing our strategies while giving insight into our progress against the required outcomes. The level of detail is always as needed since easy to adjust.
Cascade takes continuous improvement seriously as the tools are mature, aligned to our needs, with sufficient customization for our specific usage if we ever need that.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Any suggestions we ever had to improve Cascade tools were either applied to later releases or (in more cases) the Cascade team quickly helped us understand how we could best use the tool - much to our benefit. We are quite happy.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A significant benefit of using Cascade is the ability to involve anyone in strategy. As a result, we have strengthened our sense of ownership across the organization and can better illustrate how we live our mission and values in what we do. We have achieved greater buy-in and clarity on our goals.

  ### 37. Simple software to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Simple software to use. Good support from the vendors

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

There is nothing missing from the product for now. It can meet the needs

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

Have a clear and robust process before you embark on Cascade

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Goals and actions alignment and deployment to the lowest level possible

  ### 38. New Cascade Implementation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

The ease of the system and dashboard for reporting.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

The initial training was rushed. For newbies to the system, it's important to slow down and thoroughly explain each area with a thorough overview.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're just getting started.

  ### 39. Good tool for strategy work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

All the varying functionality e.g. comments, monthly meeting updates etc.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

It can incredibly complicated and you can't always customise exactly how you want

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to assign and track different objectives and goals in order to properly track and report

  ### 40. Incredible system - highly recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Easy to navigate system with an intuitive interface making it super simple to capture all the elements of our team strategy. Once it has been set up with all relevant information it's easy to check in regularly and ensure that the strategy is a live document for the whole team, not just a box ticking exercise for the board.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

So far I haven't experienced anything I dislike with the system.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started using Cascade when I realised we were struggling to visualise and align our core company vision. Using Cascade allows us to align our projects and track the progress against our goals.

  ### 41. Great software - intuitive, feature-rich, adaptable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikita P. | Investment Professional, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Feature-rich software that is highly intuitive for users. Enables strategy execution, providing senior managers visibility and alignment across the organisation and a useful task management tool for individual users.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

No much to dislike! However, to make the most out of the platform, organisations / teams need to invest time to fully understand the feature set and ensure it is embedded in their processes. Commitment from senior management and individuals is essential. Importantly, Cascade provides significant support throughout using the platform (onboarding, post-onboarding, trials)

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unifying strategic direction and decisions in an organisation. Transforms strategic initiatives into actionable tasks, projects, goals. Senior managers have oversight across an organisation (regardless of complexity and industry) of performance against strategic initiatives, while individual staff have a clear understanding of their KPIs / tasks, and how these ultimately fit into the broader strategy of the organisation.

  ### 42. Cascade review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade is user-friendly, intuitive, and visually pleasing. I also appreciate the Cascade team, as they are very responsive whenever I have queries and are always happy to help.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

I haven't benefited as much from the "help" search function. However, I always find solutions and answers from the team.

**Recommendations to others considering Cascade:**

The Cascade team is very helpful, definitely go to them for any assistance as you set-up and find out more about the capabilities of Cascade.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cascade provides visibility of our organization's big-picture strategy to the leaders, increasing understanding of our strategy. It enables the alignment of goals, actions, and outcomes.

  ### 43. Cascade is an extremely useful Strategic Planning Tools.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

The ability to easily generate Snapshot Reports and Dashboards from captured data.
The Workboard functionality gives users the ability to manage their day-to-day workload and is also the perfect one-stop page for team management.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

The lag time when trying to access/open my Dashboards.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to streamline our Strategic Plan and our Performance Management cycle.

  ### 44. Great so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

The flexibility and dynamism that brings to the strategic planning process, as well as the reporting capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

So far, nothing I can think of, since we haven't had any issues.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A strategic planning process fragmented into different tools

  ### 45. Well organized, structured and helpful program.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim G. | Strategy Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Structure and staff...staff is very supportive

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

Learning curve and designing effective measures

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Strategic organization/planning and execution

  ### 46. Cascade links Strategy with Execution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Graeme F. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Cascade has the unique ability to allow an organization to efficiently develop strategic models and connect them with the people that have to execute the strategy.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

I dislike that Cascade is a bit of a hidden secret in the corporate world - every organization can improve its strategic planning process

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business Alignment
Intercompany Communication
Corporate reporting and scorecarding

  ### 47. Great tool for planning strategy operationalisation and tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faaiza S. | Operations and Planning Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

The tool is very simple to use, you can create any type of reports or dashboards that you may need.
I love the level of planning and collaboration that can be done via the tool.
Its also great to create that consistency of purpose, as everyone in the organisation can see how their actions contribute towards achieving strategy and objectives.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

I would like for there to be a mobile application, however, the great thing about cascade is that they take their clients needs and requests seriously via the "ideas board", where you can suggest additions or improvements, which gets voted on by other users

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Linking outcomes to strategy, transparency and collaboration

  ### 48. Best Software for Strategic Planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

User friendly
Great resource materials
Great customer service

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

The user interface can be better. It's a little clumsy. The refresh rate is a little slow. Tracking types can be confusing

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a centralized platform for all the department plans and could track the progress easily. Cascade does both very well

  ### 49. Sweet product, fills a market gap, great support.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Project & task management systems are essential - but how do you know all that activity is getting you closer to achieving strategic goals? I like Cascade because it shows us how day-to-day busyness relates to company growth objectives and keeps the team focused on what's most important, rather than simply on what's urgent today. I really like the Explore view, which helps visualise goal alignment in a way I haven't seen any other tool do yet.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

The UI somehow manages to be occasionally too flexible (so many choices for how to structure a plan!) and too rigid (why can't I drag that task to a different project?). But the new UI version is a major improvement and with some continual tweaks will be great. Integrations are something I'm excited about for the future, although they're a bit tricky today. Next objective: get Zapier to automagically update revenue goals!

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone's KPIs on one page and regularly updated is a game changer.

  ### 50. The tool that does it all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Cascade?**

Having all the information in one platform increases our efficiency & our execution on any project no matter how many people are involved & where the project is based globally.

**What do you dislike about Cascade?**

To be truly honest, we haven't found any downsides at this stage. We might be early-stage users but at this stage, it does everything we need it to do and more.

**What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trading most of our software for one has allowed our team to align on every campaign parameter as well as make sure the information is shared across all departments & most importantly tracked.
