The dependability of this storage resource has been a professional life saver for me. The fact that it is constantly running in the background in the cloud gives me peace of mind and worth the annual subscription I've paid for quite a few years. Their updates often trigger the need to reinstall the software rather than being seamless. While it's not difficult to do, it's annoying to have to do it. They never send out a notice to update, and it's only when getting a notice that the backup hasn't occurred for a certain period of time do you then realize it needs to be reinstalled. Recommendations to others considering Carbonite Safe: If you want one less thing to worry about in your business, and one less piece of hardware in your office, Carbonite has proven to be an excellent answer for me. I was with Carbonite for many years and was great when I first came on board with them. It was automatically running in the background and I felt confident I had a reliable backup in case there was a disaster of any kind. Their price was reasonable. I started looking elsewhere when I got tired of having to repeatedly reinstall the software because an upgrade was done.
