I originally ran across Canvas now known as canvasxdraw at comdex in las vegas in 1995. I was lucky enough to win a free copy in one of their drawings during the event. (I still have the original 3.5 inch floppy disks). At the time I was developing shareware software and used Canvas for the illustrations for the games I was developing. As I learned just what Canvas could do I purchased a copy for the company that I worked for, which I have retired from, Ethel M Chocolates which is part of MM Chocolates. I used Canvas to help develop MMI (man machine interface) screens for the PLC controls systems used on the production floor and helped produced all the documentation that was needed for training. Canvas’s ability to work with so many different file formats, PDF, PDS, DWG, DXF made me look to my coworkers’ like a genius (I wish). As my career shifted into Safety, Canvas came with me. After retiring from Mars I still continue to use Canvas to publish two books and document my families Ancestry. So, would I recommend Canvasxdraw… I think so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
