What do you like best about Canvas LMS?

I find the customizability is fantastic once you get over your initial learning curve. You can hook in outside apps and design a beautiful course using different graphics and information that can reach all kinds of learners from auditory to hands-on projects or simulations. What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?

There is a learning curve. I had to watch some videos to learn about a lot of the different features since I didn't have anyone to specifically teach me, so it can be overwhelming at times. While I wouldn't consider myself a newbie anymore, I also don't think I'm an expert either (though my department might disagree!). So you definitely have to put the work in to learn the basic functions which some people are not willing to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

I teach EMT class so we use it as a gradebook, assessment for exams and also assignments to upload such as electronic patient care reports which can then be graded and used as artifacts when it comes to audits or explanations for our industry partners to show our students come out with certain skills they like to see.
