What do you like best about CANoe?

Being able to see and use the Diagnostic protocol down to its base level is really helpful. With it, creating simulations for any Diagnostic protocol is very easy. I use it for validation, ECU simulation, and ECU testing as a tester tool, and I also use it on a real vehicle. It lets me do everything in one tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CANoe?

The learning curve is a bit hard if the diagnostic concepts aren’t clear. Also, the help/support is very poor—most of the time I have to email the support team, and it takes at least 2–3 days to get clarifications. Live support would be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CANoe solving and how is that benefiting you?

end to end diagnostic tool in one word. It work as tester, ECU simulator. It removes hardware or actual ECU dependency it helps me analyse the real world protocol level problems so i dont need to test with actual vehicle or ECU.
