I used Candidate Labs in my most recent job search and I found the caliber much higher than any other recruiting agency I had worked with.
What was incredible to start with was the attention to detail. I had some specific requirements top of mind (Series A, early sales start up culture, experienced founders) and all of them were taken into account. I feel like with other organizations they will push companies that don't fit what I'm looking for as a candidate so it was a breath of fresh air to focus specifically on jobs that met my requirements. There are a few exceptional highlights:
1. Detailed preparedness: When I was interviewing for a specific company, I was able to talk to multiple people to get validation that the job was a good fit on my end. For example I would chat with my main recruiter (Jaycie Moller), the person who sourced the opportunity, as well as people at the company I was interviewing with in a less formal setting.
2. Thoughtfulness: My recruiter really dove into my background to find jobs relevant to my experience. For example, she saw I had worked as an intern for a college-based travel company and was able to identify that as a good way to connect with a role that worked with travel call centers.
3. Great experience: I felt supported through every aspect of interviews. I would do prep calls before, follow ups after, and continuous text updates. Even while applying for jobs during COVID-19 when there was a lot of uncertainty on the final offer side, I still received thoughtful updates regarding timeline.
