What do you like best about Calira?

It's organized in an intuitive manner and has several features that make it useful for our needs. The ability to include technical documentation, send notifications to users about equipment status, include maintenance schedules, generate reports, users can make their own notes about protocols and procedures. What do you dislike about Calira?

I can't think of anything in particular that I dislike but, to be fair, this is the only booking platform that I've used so I don't really have a basis for comparison. Plus, I'm a relatively new user. There might be things I come across that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Calira solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mainly knowing who is using what equipment and when. In the past, it was a disorganized free-for-all. With multiple labs all making use of the same equipment it is essential to have a booking system to schedule use, track use, know who are the main users when it comes to covering maintenance costs...etc. Calira is great for this and also has the benefit of other useful features like having the users manuals and usage protocol documentation readily available for each piece of equipment. As I previously mentioned, the users can make their own note about their equipment usage. And the ability to schedule in regular maintenance procedure saves a lot of time and effort.
