What do you dislike about Cableteque?

At this stage, our biggest challenge is not necessarily with Cableteque itself, but rather with our own learning curve as we work to fully understand and leverage the platform's capabilities for our wire harness quoting and estimating processes.

As with any comprehensive software solution, there is a learning curve involved in understanding the available features, establishing efficient workflows, and determining how best to integrate the software into our existing processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cableteque solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cableteque is helping us address one of the more challenging aspects of wire harness manufacturing: developing accurate, consistent, and efficient cost estimates for custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies.

Our quoting process involves numerous variables, including material costs, wire lengths, connector and terminal requirements, manufacturing operations, labor estimates, and assembly complexity. Managing these variables consistently across different products and customer requirements can be both time-consuming and challenging.

Cableteque provides a structured platform to help standardize our estimating methodology, improve consistency across quotations, and reduce reliance on manual calculations and spreadsheets. We see significant potential for improving quoting efficiency, reducing variability in labor estimates, and establishing a more repeatable, data-driven approach to costing.
