What do you like best about CA Harvest Software Change Manager?

The CA Harvest Change Manager comes with modules

1. CA Harvest workbench and

2. CA Harvets Administrator module

Workbench Module:

Suppose someone wants to build a release process for their software, then this tool provides lots of functionality like maintaing the version release of a specific patch or feature using a package based deployments.

It also release based on the configuration in the tool:

working state

Managed control state

Baseline

Production

these states can be configured as dev, staging and production which makes the tool more flexible.

Admin Module:

This module provides compete fucntionality to maintain the projects lifecycle and access provided to each team member in each project.

What do you dislike about CA Harvest Software Change Manager?

The source server from where the files needs to be checked in the repository needs to be done manually which sometimes problematic for example if the changes are in multiple path of the repository then we have to check in the file from multiple location to multiple path of the repository.
