Currently, you can only export as a jpeg and PNG. Bynder is intuitive which makes it easy for our end users. It's fully customizable so we could set it up to fit how we work and how we search for assets. We've had a great adoption rate with the Marketing team and look forward to rolling it out to the rest of the company. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** We thought there was an easy solution to bring assets and metadata over from our previous DAM but that ended up being more work than uploading project by project so getting our assets into the tool took longer than anticipated. I wish Bynder could convert to different file types on the fly so everyone can get what they need immediately without us creating and managing several file types for every asset. I also wish there was automation on notification of expired assets to make the maintenance and compliance easier. **What problems is Bynder solving and how is that benefiting you?** We now have a central source of truth for all our marketing and brand assets. Everyone has direct access to the latest and greatest materials so there is no longer a need to search emails and servers for assets and hoping it's the most current. It is very intuitive for the users and admins. I like that the usage flow works similar to Google Images or online shopping so it is quick to understand for a new user. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** There are limitations for uploading/adjusting files. If I make an error in uploading, it is not always easy to bulk edit all metaproperties. It sometimes gets confused with filters, so then I have to change each asset manually. I think a warning or "ok" would be helpful to add when using Mass Uploader when it comes to adding new terms/meta-properties. I had a few times that a spelling error/typo caused a new field to be added without me noticing until doing a later QA. **What problems is Bynder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bynder is allowing for a more centralized place for all creative assets to live. It is helping prevent users on other teams from editing or altering files and folders they shouldn't be using. After contract execution, we had a seamless transition to the onboarding manager, who met with us weekly for several weeks to set up our new portal. The support doesn't stop there -- after onboarding, we were transitioned to the success team and were also provided many resources to ensure our success with their platform. The Bynder platform itself is intuitive and customizable, with many available integrations. The user experience far outweighs other DAM portals. Videos don't register as uploaded until they're completely converted, and even a brief internet outage will cancel the entire upload to fail. It may have to do with our portal on our company's server, but the process has been painstakingly slow. I also seem to have issues uploading larger files, sometime even as small as 7GB. They hang up on the conversion process. I wish there was a way to get them into the Bynder portfolio before they start converting. **What problems is Bynder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bynder is solving our need for having all our assets in one singular place. The platform is easy to use, has all the features we need and passed our security and tech checks. Plus the Brand Portal is a cherry-on-top, the perfect interactive solution to house all of our brand guidelines and assets. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** As with all new platforms there are features we'll use and some that won't be suitable for our business needs. People were saving and sharing files with no consistency or coordination across multiple platforms. Complication - This caused issues along the entire workflow process, with wasted time and effort trying to search and retrieve files. There's was doubt about the latest versions, which increases brand risk, and there were security issues with sharing files. Resolution - We needed a secure and centralised platform where people can store, retrieve and share creative assets, supported by a Brand Hub for all of our guidelines and brand asset. Additionally, the upload process is quite intuitive and easy to customize as well as the homepage. Collections is probably the most valuable to me and my team, specifically for sharing externally and organizing a smaller group of media files. The customer support has been top tier from sales all the way to our implementation specialist (and soon to be customer success manager). We have asked a lot of Nick speceifically and he has been extremely helpful to work with and knowledgeable about the product. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** For our team, the biggest hurdle has been navigating the Adobe CC. The process for uploading working files is quite manual and not easy to navigate. I realize this may be because we are using the connector incorrectly or because we are so new to the platform, but this seems like more work for our design team to figure out than it should be. **What problems is Bynder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Duplication of assets, struggling to determine naming conventions for files, unsure where to go to grab an asset, and streamlining platforms. The Onboarding Team, Adam and Carina, were extremely patient and knowlegable with teaching us how best to use the tool. They even helped create several unique solutions to meet our customized needs. The onboarding and implementation of this software has been a delight, working with them and seeing immediate benefits for our company. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** Unfortunately, Bynder says that it integrates with Drupal as a website asset management tool, and while this is technically true, it's integration is shockingly limited. You currently can only use 1 Bynder asset per Drupal web page/post, and even then, you cannot embed your asset in-line, only at the foot of your post. This may work fine for somebody using it for "blog" website, however, it is not even remotely acceptable for use on a product website. **What problems is Bynder solving and how is that benefiting you?** We currently have 4 websites that all drew assets from separate buckets/locations. When an asset needed to be updated, we had to update that asset 4 times, in 4 different locations. Now we can update the asset in one location and the change reflects across all 4 websites immediately. Additionally, we're less worried about employees hanging on to old versions of assets, and now they can always have quick/easy access to the lastest and most up to date versions. ### 31. The planning was thorough and the demonstrations we received were very impressive on product use cases as well as AI integrations. Our team had to migrate from a previous DAM provider to Bynder in three months. I knew it could be challenging, but the Bynder team met me every step of the way with a confident onboarding team. Our meetings were productive and the communication outside of meetings was professionally quick and thorough. Stephanie and Christina were awesome to work with. We now work with Sean as our customer success rep and he is also wonderful. Our team has been so impressed with the transition between platforms and for the very intuitive Bynder DAM. The adoption seems to be very smooth because the smart filtering used with our metadata taxonomy is instinctive, and the search capabilities are well designed. Onboarding our co-workers has gone smoothly so far and we have brought in all of our our clients as well. Another plus to switching to Bynder was the cost savings. Our team is very happy with the change. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** There are a few areas that need improvement with Bynder's capabilities. We can't view GIFs unless they are made public, and none of our assets are public for specific privacy reasons. We hope they will develop another way to view GIFs in the platform. Also, HTML5 can't be previewed in the DAM and this is helpful to test the asset before it is loaded to a site. We cannot impersonate another user's individual account to easily check to see if they have the correct content visibile in their permission level. Original file names can't be renamed in the software without uploading a new version with the correct name. After migration, our team has a large number of newly identified duplicates that we need to check on and review. **What problems is Bynder solving and how is that benefiting you?** We find the Adobe integration with LinkrUi has been helpful for pulling in assets from the DAM into a creative project. Bynder has been easier to onboard and train for users that simply view and download content. The Bynder migration and onboarding helped us build a more robust and intentional metadata taxonomy to establish successful smart filtering since we moved from a folder structure DAM. ### 42. The end result is that I've found Bynder very easy to use, even though I'm not a user who's been historically familiar with using enterprise DAMs. I've been impressed by how many problems we can solve with Bynder, and am looking forward to implementing those solutions and streamlining some of our thornier processes. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** Because it can do so many things, it's tempting to try to do more than the use case requires. I do think that the only negative of the onboarding process was that, in their enthusiasm to share all of Bynder's cool features, the team sometimes would reach to find problems that didn't really seem to exist for our team. Without thoughtful administration, I think Bynder could turn into an overcomplicated monster that hinders its team more than helps. **What problems is Bynder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously to adopting Bynder, assets didn't have an official place to live, and the creative team had files stored, piecemeal, in various places that made sharing difficult or downright impossible. What I really like about Bynder is the ease of finding assets when you have a good filtering system in place. The results get smaller and smaller with the more filters one selects; and with just a few clicks, one can get to the assets they were looking for. Also, our success managers and onboarding team were always hands on, and anytime something had to be changed or wasn't quite the way we wanted, they managed to find a solution for the problem. Overall, I'm really satisfied with Bynder. And compared to a couple of years back when I first started using it, I can definitely see that there has been a big improvement to the platform. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** When we ask for some specific changes that we would like to implement, sometimes these updates aren't possible to be excuted from Bynder's side. And this can be quite frustrating as this could be game changer for our specific business. My team is responsible for collecting creative and copy assets in order to publish social ads. There are a lot of steps and moving parts between ideation and delivery. We needed a tool that would simplify our process so we can increase speed to market. Bynder makes it easy to upload, download and manage images and copy decks. The AI feature also helps with tagging and adding Meta data. It's super easy to search for any asset by simply using the search bar. Version control saves a ton of time by making sure our users are using the latest version of your creative assets and copy decks. We can easily track changes and compare different versions of an asset to see how it has changed. Brand consistency is fundamental to our business. We created a wonderful online Brand Guidelines page that informs our staff on how to use our brand whether they want to use our logos, fonts, photos and other assets. **What do you dislike about Bynder?** Bynder's pricing can be high, especially for smaller businesses or teams with limited budgets. Additionally, some third-party integrations may come with additional monthly fees. That being said, they are an industry leader so if your company can afford it, I recommend the investment. We also found the onboarding took long. It took about 5 months with weekly 1 hour meetings. The onboarding team does go through a lot of details and they are very knowledgable. I recommend to book two meetings per week to speed up the process. **What problems is Bynder solving and how is that benefiting you?** As Delivery Operations Manager, one of my key responsibilities is to make sure our processes more agile. This means adding a tool in our tech stack that will play well with our other tools and speed up our delivery to market without affecting our accuracy and quality. One of the biggest issues we faced was having our digital assets live in mutlitple places: One Drive, Teams, AssetBank and peoples laptop harddrives. This cause duplications and use of expired assets. Sometimes outdated assets would go to market by accident. Not good! With Bynder, all of our digital assets live in one place securely. We even started using Bynder to house some of our important documents. This makes it easy to find and access the assets you need, when you need them, without having to search through multiple folders or cloudl drives. Most DAMs have a complicated folder structure which is daunting to use. Bynder is driven by a search bar just like Google. Adding Bynder to Wrike has really helped streamline our processes and workflows. No more downloading assets to your desktop! Simply grab from Bynder from within Wrike! Also, the advanced search and filtering has made it easier for our employees to find the assets they are looking for, quickly. We used to use AssetBank which is very outdated and cumbersome. Prior, they lived in folders in Dropbox which was just not the best solution, especially because in comparison Dropbox lacks features to be able to have a broader view of all of your assets. I love that now I can filter in Bynder what I am looking for, and see so many assets together at a glance.
