I like Buildr's clean, usable interface. I appreciate that it tracks my project budgets throughout a design life-cycle and makes it easy to draw upon those past and current budgets. There are a few small improvements that could be made to the estimating tool that would make a big impact on its usability and efficiencies. Some things that could help a lot include: some export or reporting feature of all VE/Change items within an estimate, ability to add a line item number or something similar to control the order in which line items appear within a single cost code, ability to show the sum of each CSI division or cost code as a $/SF against the overall building GSF, and ability to customize the Milestone Reports before creating the report. Customizing things such as titles, adding cost/SF or other metrics to the report would be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
