We run Huntit, a social content intelligence platform for marketing agencies and brand teams, and we use Bright Data’s Web Scraper API to collect public posts and profile data from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook (with more platforms coming soon). What I value most is being able to rely on a single provider across all of them, using the same trigger-and-deliver pattern each time. That consistency means our automation layer (n8n) can talk to Bright Data in the same way regardless of the platform.
The billing model is the second big win. Bright Data doesn’t charge for results it can’t deliver, so we’re paying for data rather than for attempts. In our experience, it’s also the most reliable system for filtering social posts and returning exactly the posts from the time window we request, consistently across every platform.
The platform itself is easy to work with. Creating, tuning, and adjusting a collection is straightforward, and the output comes back as structured, consistent JSON that maps into our database with very little cleanup.
Support has been another real strength. They respond quickly, and whenever we’ve raised an issue, they’ve put in the effort to get it resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, very little. If anything, error messages could be a bit more explicit when a collection fails on the platform's side, but their support has always helped us sort it out quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
