What I appreciate most about Bright Data is the transparency throughout the entire data setup and collection process. With other providers, you often have no choice but to purchase massive datasets without truly knowing what’s inside. Bright Data, however, provides a user-friendly interface that helps me clearly understand what data I need and how to access it most efficiently. Furthermore, communicating directly with their account managers allowed me to gain deeper insights into the data. Through these collaborative discussions, I actually came to better understand what specific data I was truly looking for. This whole experience enabled me to access data in the most transparent, logical, and reasonable way possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I find challenging about Bright Data is how to handle scraping requests for public domains that are not currently covered. As an individual user, asking for a custom scraper build feels like requesting too big of a commitment from the company, which makes me hesitant to even submit a request. It would be a huge improvement if there were a dedicated system to receive requests for new, unmapped domains, even with no guarantee of fulfillment, and then build scrapers for the ones that are feasible.
