I use Brief as a coding partner to align on requirements, catch regressions, consolidate past decisions with current ones, and catch edge cases I haven’t considered. It helps me remember decisions and catches conflicts I might introduce before code is written. It’s super easy to use and it just works. I use the CLI and it’s been amazing—it plugs directly into my Claude Code, and I’ve built my harness to always check with Brief during the design phase without me specifically instructing it to.
