## BoxCast Reviews
  ### 1. Outstanding Support and Effortless Troubleshooting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelli T. | Technology Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

The ease of connecting with customer support is my favorite aspect. There's far less guesswork involved in troubleshooting than what we experienced with our last service.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

I am not particularly happy that we are required to maintain a subscription plan to continue using the BoxCast Sparks we bought. I'm also frustrated that running two simultaneous streams requires paying an extra fee. Our streams often overlap by a few minutes, which creates complications, yet that inconvenience doesn't justify paying a higher cost for an already somewhat expensive plan.

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The live diagnostics and editable livestreams have helped us remedy issues more quickly, particularly where Facebook Live streaming is concerned, and the automated beginning and ending of streams has removed a few steps from our process.

**Official Response from Mindy Worley:**

> Thanks for the kind words about our support and automation — we’re glad those features are saving you time and stress! I’m sorry the extra fee for concurrent streams is creating friction. I’ll share this feedback with our product and billing teams. In the meantime, please contact your account manager or our support team so we can review your plan and options (possible add-ons, schedule changes, or workarounds) to reduce the impact on your budget.

  ### 2. First hand experience in a growing house of worship

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | Associate Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

I think the simple dashboard and overall ease of use, especially for smaller orgs, make it an amazing option for anyone looking to stream. The customer service and the team are also amazing and very helpful. Adding destinations is relatively simple, and we have experienced consistency during our streams. Also, pricing is categorically more reasonable than that of competitors.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

The multisite extension isn't as robust as I would like, easy to use but with the delay and lack of embedded communication makes it a little less usable for larger orgs that need to keep synced times between campuses or events that are being streamed.

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They continue to add more and more integrations, including the multisite feature mentioned previously.

  ### 3. BoxCast Keeps Our Broadcasts Going Across Multiple Platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

We started using BoxCast when COVID began in 2020. At first, we planned to discontinue broadcasts once in-person services resumed. However, we received such a strong response with BoxCast, along with the ability to broadcast to multiple platforms, that we decided to keep our broadcasts going.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

We do a daily broadcast of Evening Prayer. Our priest needs to record it ahead of time, since she isn’t always available at the moment we go live. However, scheduling each day’s broadcast and setting up the links takes a lot of time and ends up being quite time-consuming.

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re able to reach our parishioners on the platform of their choice. We routinely broadcast to both Facebook and YouTube using BoxCast.

  ### 4. Streamlined, Reliable Live Broadcasting with an Easy Setup.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert S. | Director of Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

BoxCast has helped us streamline all of our live broadcasts across all of our locations at an excellent price. The interface is extremely easy to use, and the setup process is a breeze.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

The main issue we wanted to solve was reliability, and BoxCast has consistently delivered.

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BoxCast helped us better organize our content and made it easier to deliver it to our community. Before, every building did their own thing and now we deliver a high-quality content in a unified platform.

  ### 5. Effortless Live Streaming with Top-Notch Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

I use BoxCast to broadcast all county meetings, and it makes me compliant with the law while allowing constituents to access these meetings from home. I appreciate the ease of use and flexibility of the platform. Broadcasting to the platform is super easy, and scheduling meetings is straightforward. Plus, people wanting to view our county meetings find the platform easy to use. I also haven't found much I don't like about the platform, their support, and the depth of knowledge of the support staff. The support team was very helpful in those first couple of months, which made the setup fairly simple.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

Nothing

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BoxCast to broadcast county meetings, making me compliant with the law and enabling access from home. It's super easy to use, both for broadcasting and scheduling, and constituents find it easy to view meetings.

  ### 6. Great Support, But Limited Customization and Analytics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle J. | Multi-Site Worship Tech Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

I really have appreciated the support team in the few time's I've worked with them.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

It's overly simple. You can't customize the embed widget all that much and the analytics and error logging are very limited.

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm honestly unaware of any active improvements being made.

**Official Response from Mindy Worley:**

> We appreciate your kind words about our support team. We understand your feedback about the limitations in customization and analytics. We are committed to improving our platform and I've shared your feedback with our team. It'll definitely be taken into consideration for future updates!

  ### 7. Easy to Use, Excellent Product and a Great Overall Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

Easy to use and an excellent product. Everyone has been great to work with, and the overall experience has been very positive.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

There is really not anything I do not like.

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power surges caused our encoder, which was over six years old, to stop working, so we’re replacing it. They were wonderful about offering to troubleshoot, and they didn’t push us to buy a new one until everything had been checked out.

  ### 8. Robust, Reliable Streaming with Boxcast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean D. | Administrative Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

Boxcast offers a robust and reliable streaming platform

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

Would like to see more live video overlays

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has created an all in one streaming platform that is not a jack of all trades and master of none. All of its features work and work well

  ### 9. Very pleased with both Boxcast devices.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

We have been streaming with Boxcast since Covid. I'm pleased with the affordability of the mini-Boxcast, and are well-pleased with the multiple features of the Boxcast-Pro. We have been using one of each for several years, and are in the process of upgrading the mini to a "Pro" model, for better timing, audio control and H.265 encoding. The hardware is fantastic, but the support is exceptional. We can reach live people whenever we need assistance. They've even stayed late beyond their shifts to provide expertise. I don't believe there's an easier system out there in install, deploy and maintain than Boxcaster. I highly recommend the entire system, devices, staff and software.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

I really don't have any real negatives. We have had some equipment failures on the Pro model, but we were shipped warranty devices within a couple of days, so we didn't miss any scheduled streaming sessions.

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching shutins, marketing the church, helping us make disciples of all nations, reaching those confined to their locations, enabling asynchronous viewing of our services.

  ### 10. Consistent, powerful, and useful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert H. | Pastor of Worship and Discipleship, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2022

**What do you like best about BoxCast?**

I like the simplicity of the boxcaster device - especially the ports and symbols that light up allowing me to check my connections at a glance. I also love the software that let's me schedule livestreams.

**What do you dislike about BoxCast?**

Currently, the app has difficulty staying logged in, which is annoying but okay. Also often when I go live, I have to refresh the page in order for it to go from the broadcast starting window to where I can see the actual stream. The software struggled the most on an older iPad also.

**Recommendations to others considering BoxCast:**

Boxcast works as a streaming device should. I have a feeling there are more features that I do not even know about yet! I plan on using their devices and software for years.

**What problems is BoxCast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We livestream our church service every Sunday. We also record a private video of our wednesday night rehearsals. Boxcast allows us to do both of these in a simple, user-friendly, and consistent way.
