Clean. Simple. Effective. Box does an excellent job of storing files on the cloud so that they are accessible across all devices where you have a stable internet connection. As a college student, it makes backing up my class assignments easy. I am able to transfer files between my phone, laptop, and desktop computer with ease. If I have an assignment that I want to work on at home, I am able to start it on my desktop. Then, when I go to class, I can download it on my laptop and complete my work. The only downsides of Box are a minor user interface issue and inconsistent upload speeds with medium-to-large-sized files. When I first started using Box, I would always right-click below my files or in folders expecting to be presented with an upload option so I could quickly upload my materials. Unfortunately, this is not an option, you have to drag in files or hit the "New+" button in the right-hand corner of your window. But, as I said, this is a minor issue. The larger issue I have is with the upload speeds. When I want to upload files that are larger than just a word document, it seems to take ages to upload to the cloud. Most of the time I have had no issues, but there is a chance that the upload progress bar seems stuck right toward the end of my upload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
