I love that it eliminates the need for printing and distributing copies which saves time and resources. The searchable archive is the most helpful feature of BoardDocs. It is easy and quick to find past agendas, meeting notes, and other supporting documents. The layout is also very easy to navigate even for the public. **What do you dislike about BoardDocs?** While BoardDocs is a great tool, there are a few areas that could be improved. At first when using BoardDocs, it is somewhat difficult to learn especially uploading and organizing the content. It is also isn't as customizable as I would like for our district's needs. That said, once I got familiar with the system, it works smoothly and delivers great value. **What problems is BoardDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** BoardDocs helps several business problems that we have. First, it saves me valuable time and resources by having the board agendas and supporting documents available. It also improves transparency to the public allowing them to have immediate access to the board materials which helps our district meet the legal and community expectations. Furthermore, by having all of our board content in one secure location, it reduces the risk of lost information. ### 2. It was very easy for staff to add information before meetings, and very easy to approve or reject information. **What do you dislike about BoardDocs?** One of the biggest cons we experienced with BoardDocs was the user experience for searching information. There was no logical search order and no way to modify how the search appeared. It could have a document from 2015 next to a document from 2008, and you would have to enter each document to figure out which document was actually relevant. **What problems is BoardDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** Information for Board meetings is crucial to follow a logical order that allows for video add in for public perspective. It is very easy to add in the video concepts of each board meeting and time them to each item. I do wish the video was searchable instead of embedded into each meeting direclty. ### 3. There are no issues which I can report. **What problems is BoardDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy acclimation to our board meetings and very user-friendly. We are able to post ALL meetings (past, present, and upcoming) to make communication very transparent. Notes recorded are in an easy-to-read format and very clean and presentable. ### 4. With the help of this I easily analysis my time and create report on time. **What do you dislike about BoardDocs?** I truly said that, technical glitch is the main problem, otherwise the product is good for the organizations. **What problems is BoardDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** For the meeting i do not depend on any employee of the company, its helps in event management, apart from that voting and recording is the next level feature to make the decision after meetings. ### 7. I can't imagine going back to paper board packets. I love using the meeting control panel during meetings to take care of most of my minutes prior to next board meeting. I also love the support we get from Diligent. I have set up trainings for our secretaries and advisory school board members on how to use the program. I use BoardDocs almost on a daily basis and for every board meeting we have. BoardDocs was easily intergrated when the school district decided to go to paperless board meetings. **What do you dislike about BoardDocs?** I think the downside is when having to add new board members or advisory school board members. I haven't tried the importing a file feature yet. **What problems is BoardDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** BoardDocs makes my job easier when it comes to the agenda, during the meeting, and with the load the minutes from the meeting control panel. ### 8. I especially like how quick and easy it is to change or correct something if needed. **What do you dislike about BoardDocs?** If I wanted to print the packet, I would have to go to each agenda item and print the item and attachments one by one. **What problems is BoardDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** Coordinating efforts to add items to the agenda. I know longer have to seek out individuals. Each person adds their own item and I produce the finished product. ### 9.
