What I like best is how easily Blotato plugs into an automation workflow. We use its native Make module, so posting happens without anyone opening each social network. Our flow takes new content from our database, has AI write the copy for each platform, generates an image, and then Blotato schedules the posts to Facebook, X and Instagram at the exact time we choose. One “Post” module covers every platform. You just switch the platform, account and scheduled time, and add an image URL when needed. That makes cross-platform posting consistent and easy to manage for a small team. It was also simple to reuse the same setup for other campaigns, like event promotion posts scheduled several days ahead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main downside we’ve hit is how strict scheduling is through the API. If a post’s scheduled time has already passed by the time the automation runs, Blotato returns a “Cannot schedule a post in the past” error and the whole run stops, so those posts never go out until someone notices and reruns it. It would help to have a simple option to publish immediately or move the post to the next open slot when the time has already passed. Also, posting the same content to several networks means adding a separate step for each platform, each with its own account IDs. That makes workflows longer and uses more operations than a single “post to all selected accounts” step would. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
