The segmentation power is what attracted me the most. I manage CRM for a large, consented customer base (loyal club members) across multiple product categories, and being able to build audiences off real category-level shopping behaviour has been huge. I can tell exactly who's only ever bought from one category and build discovery campaigns around that instead of blasting everyone with the same message. So much worth the investment :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve is real โ reports, aggregates, and definitions can get pretty hectic and aren't always super user-friendly. It takes some time to build up the knowledge to feel confident navigating it. One specific thing that's frustrating: you can't merge two events into one report as a single instance โ for example, purchase and purchase_item cannot be combined in one single report, which limits how you can structure certain reports.
