"All in One Creative Powerhouse with a Supportive Community"

5/5

What do you like best about Blender?

What I appreciate most about Blender is how much it offers in a single application. I can model, animate, render, and edit projects without constantly switching between different software. As someone who enjoys learning and experimenting with creative ideas, Blender gives me the freedom to try new things without worrying about expensive licenses or subscriptions. I also like the large community around Blender. Whenever I get stuck, there are tutorials, forums, and resources that make it easier to learn and improve. It has a learning curve, but once I became familiar with the basics, it felt very rewarding to use. For me, Blender is a practical tool that combines professional-level features with accessibility, which is why it stands out from other creative software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

One thing I don't like about Blender is that it can feel overwhelming, especially when working on something new. Since it has so many features and tools, finding the right settings or workflow sometimes takes longer than expected. I still occasionally spend time searching for tutorials or solutions when I get stuck. I also find that certain tasks require a lot of trial and error before getting the result I want. While Blender is very powerful, the learning curve can be steep, and some parts of the interface aren't always intuitive for beginners. Despite that, the benefits outweigh the frustrations for me, and I keep coming back to it because of how much it can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blender solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blender helps solve the problem of needing multiple expensive tools for 3D design, animation, rendering, and visual content creation. Instead of learning and paying for several different programs, I can do almost everything in one place. For me, this makes the creative process much simpler and more efficient. One of the biggest benefits is being able to turn ideas into visual projects without a large budget. Whether I'm creating product concepts, 3D models, animations, or marketing visuals, Blender gives me the tools to do it myself. It has also helped me learn new skills and experiment with ideas that would have been difficult or costly to explore otherwise. From a practical perspective, Blender saves both time and money while still providing professional-level capabilities. That combination is what makes it valuable to me, and it's a big reason why I continue to use it regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
