With email account compromise being a huge target it’s nice to know someone is looking at all login attempts at all hours of the day. **What do you dislike about Blackpoint Cyber?** I wish Blackpoint had the ability to schedule vulnerability scans. We can run the scans on demand but cannot set re-occurring schedules. **What problems is Blackpoint Cyber solving and how is that benefiting you?** More and more cyber insurance polies are requiring a SOC to be leverage. There are also tons of logs that need to be captured and monitors around the clock. We also needed a way to do vulnerability scanning for current and potential customers. So far, they've nailed everything within a couple of minutes, while the attacker is still trying to figure out where they landed in the network, which is then followed up with a phone call from an alayst about the issue. But that has been confuisng and difficult to navigate. I received a call shortly after informing me of suspicious activity they were alerted on. None of these were deal breakers for me, but I had put something here. **What problems is Blackpoint Cyber solving and how is that benefiting you?** So far their cloud response has had the most visual benefit for us. Allowing us to see login activity, and get alerts. We have a customer that has strict limitation on where employees can login from. Even with conditional access on 365, the geolocation was inaccurate, but Blackpoint caught it and alerted us so we could add more conditions. ### 15. Additionally focusing more along the tradecraft has provided a better piece of mind vs just lookign for known threats and alerts. The current security landscape is filled with bad actors that leverage both known bad and known good software to perform their breaches. Knowing Blackpoint monitors both the bad but also the good for intent and behavior allows ourselves and our clients to sleep better at night. Additiinally as new feature and functions come out they are provided to our clients without any additional cost! **What do you dislike about Blackpoint Cyber?** Lacks some customization options that a traditional SIEM may offer, especally around tie ins to 3rd party products they may not immediately integrate with. Billing can be a potential headache based on commitments and if a client may go down in size. Have not experianced the issue yet, but would prefer a direct used agent billing vs commitment counts that may be out of date. BPC adds another layer of human overwatch. If needed, they can decide to isolate a device when you are unable to. CEO and other top leadership have joined several calls with us. **What do you dislike about Blackpoint Cyber?** Not much to dislike... have offered a few minor bits of feedback for improvement with reporting (wanting more detail) and their partner portal (more flexibility to accomodate unique circumstances) but these are very minor. Overall we're extremely happy with the product and the company behind it. **What problems is Blackpoint Cyber solving and how is that benefiting you?** As an MSP and MSSP, we need high-quality yet afforable MDR protection for our clients. They did provide a workaround for that so extra Kudos but it would be nice to be able to just upload an updated list when there is regular turnover for large clients. **What problems is Blackpoint Cyber solving and how is that benefiting you?** They provide logging for compliance purposes and reviewing suspicious behavior through the MDR/SOC. ### 41.
