What do you like best about Black Owl Lease Accounting Solution?

Black Owl has simplified every aspect of our lease accounting. We are a PE firm with 14 operating companies across multiple industries, and we previously relied on large, manual Excel workbooks to track hundreds of leases. Now, the ability to easily add new companies, set up users, and add or modify leases, along with the push-button reporting capabilities, saves us significant time each month and quarter. We historically had errors and inconsistencies in our lease data which has been fully eliminated now that we're automated with Black Owl. The software has allowed our operating companies to focus on more value added work at month-end, rather than manually updating spreadhseets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Black Owl Lease Accounting Solution?

We have no downsides to note about Black Owl - We were one of the early adopters of the platform and from day one we've been impressed with the ease of implementation, the software itself and the excellent customer service from Greg, Derek and team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Black Owl Lease Accounting Solution solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have hundreds of leases and subleases across 14 companies which was very difficult to manage, time consuming to account and report on and prone to errors. Black Owl allowed us to fully automate the leasing process. We've eliminated hours of work every month and quarter across our portfolio. We can now feel confident in the integrity of our data and the push button reporting allows us to easily populate financial statement notes and proactively monitor maturity dates.
