We use Bitwarden to securely store and sync passwords in the cloud as a team. We are particularly impressed by the differentiated permission levels. With the help of Nested Collections, we can also clearly map our complex permission structure within a single team. The integration with Microsoft Entra and the support for Single Sign-on (SSO) are further clear advantages for us. Thanks to the detailed documentation, the setup went smoothly. I find the new interface very user-friendly – especially for people without an IT background. It is also noteworthy how quickly Bitwarden recognizes input fields and automatically fills in login credentials. The security reports are also helpful: they clearly show which websites have insecure passwords stored and which login credentials may be affected by a data breach. In terms of price, Bitwarden is slightly above some other password managers. However, given the range of functions and the benefits for team collaboration, I consider the price justified. The only downside I currently see concerns the permissions in Nested Collections. When I create a new collection within a collection, it would be helpful if the permissions were adopted 1:1. An optional inheritance that I can activate with a button would be an advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
