Project planning, resource allocation, time tracking : it’s all connected, and you don’t have to jump between different tools or spreadsheets. The interface is clean, and once you get used to it, it’s actually kind of satisfying to use. I also really appreciate how customizable the dashboards are : I can set it up exactly how I want to see project progress without getting bogged down in unnecessary details **What do you dislike about Birdview?** Sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming at first — there’s a learning curve, especially for new team members. The UI could be a bit more intuitive in some areas. Also, mobile functionality is limited compared to desktop. **What problems is Birdview solving and how is that benefiting you?** Birdview helps us centralize project management, so we’re not juggling multiple tools or chasing updates in emails and spreadsheets. It’s made it way easier to track progress, manage resources, and keep everyone aligned. That’s saved us time and improved team accountability. ### 2. Rather than using My Assignments or Dashboard, it gives you options to view your workload the way it makes sense for you. Very easy to set up a project. The auto-create feature , in particular, is very heavily used Good value for the price. Customer support is really good. **What do you dislike about Birdview?** The activity center BOARD view is not so useful for Agile teams. Reassigning priorities at any column (ie, moving a task to the top of the column) changes the task order within the waterfall project! Frequent updates can be surprising as you'd have to to keep searching where they moved certain features **What problems is Birdview solving and how is that benefiting you?** Birdview helps me to track my time and keep projects on track by helping me view the workload at project level and team member level ### 3. The visability when multiple members are assigned to a project. You are able to see everyone's input and time if needed. I use Birdview mutliple times a day and the ease of using this platform gets easier and easier every time. **What do you dislike about Birdview?** Someone with higher credentials needs to add you to projects even if you have super coordinator status. **What problems is Birdview solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently, the only issues I have seems to be at a certain time 4pm EST, it starts to take me a moment to input or close out projects. I have to wait. Usually before the time I am able to go through mutliple projects at one time. It happens for about 10 mins and then it resolves itself. During those 10 mins it feels very slow. ### 4. Birdview is a clean, simple and mostly intuitive interface for billing and managing that time quickly. It's organized well and makes intuitive sense which is important for me. **What do you dislike about Birdview?** The main needs my level of user needs is to find projects, add time and I do it all from the timesheet view. Sometimes, if I search directly for a project or task, there can be a lot of available options for me to click on or interact with, and many of them, I just never need. So sometimes it takes a second to find where to add time to a task because there are so many possible buttons to click. But that's really it. **What problems is Birdview solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a lot of projects AND a lot of different types of project, and being able to search and quickly add time is pretty seamless and helpful. ### 6. We like Birdview because of its ease of use and the ability to segment different departments/teams. It is intuitive enough for even the causal user to be able to take over the project management role if needed. The use of "Spaces" in the system allows for segmentation of the projects, fields, and teams and allows for completely confidential spaces, if needed. Implementation was fairly easy (learning how to set up custom forms, fields, and reports) and continued support/maintenance/updating of the system is straight forward. Overall a great tool to use for many different types of teams. **What do you dislike about Birdview?** Spaces are a great NEW tool but beware, everyone can create one and as an admin, you will not have access to every space to help support your users. It would be useful if Spaces could be toggled off unless your company would like to use the feature or at least offer permissions that let you limit someone's ability to create a space. Basic reporting capabilities are great but the system requires additional licenses to connect to PBI/etc. to allow for more robust reporting. Would love to see some more robust reporting capabilities built in. **What problems is Birdview solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to Birdview, our projects were managed in several different systems and there was limited visibility. Birdview has allowed us to put all project work in one central location to increase visibility and reporting. ### 7. You can track multiple projects which can be broken into sub-projects/tasks. You can enter as you go, adjust post-hoc, and it saves automatically, so it's flexible in terms of each own's desired frequency of use. I also appreciate the calendar feature when tracking hours to flag which days meet quota (green) or are under (yellow) / over (red). **What do you dislike about Birdview?** All existing and pre-existing projects remain in the dropdown when selecting which project to track. If there was a way to hide some, it would be easier / more efficient to navigate through them.
