Reading employee data was never going to be enough for us. Parts of our workflow have to push data back into the source HR system. That changed the evaluation quite a bit, because plenty of integration products are fine on reads and get much harder the moment you need the other direction. We validate write support at the provider and field level before anything goes to production. We don't treat "supported integration" as meaning every write operation is available everywhere.
