What do you like best about BIGVU?
I've been using BIGVU for a few weeks now, and I have to say that as someone who frequently records short videos for social media, it has been a huge help. The built-in teleprompter is especially convenient — I no longer have to juggle paper notes or try to memorize lengthy scripts. Instead, I just type in my text, set the scrolling speed, and record without worrying about forgetting my lines.
The interface is quite straightforward and easy to navigate; I figured it out within minutes. I also appreciate that I can do basic editing—trimming clips, adding captions, and inserting background music—directly within the app. It’s not a fully featured professional editor, but it’s more than enough for simple, quick edits.
One of the coolest features is the option to remove the background, although it doesn’t always work perfectly if you don’t have ideal lighting. Also, keep in mind that some of these advanced features require a premium subscription, so not everything is available in the free version.
Another big plus is how easy it is to share videos directly to social media platforms. This saves me a ton of time since I don’t have to transfer files to my computer before uploading them to YouTube, for example. I can record, do a quick edit, and upload everything right from my phone.
Overall, I’d say BIGVU is a great solution for anyone looking to create professional-looking videos without investing a lot of time or specialized equipment. The combination of a teleprompter and basic editing tools is super convenient. If you need more advanced editing, you’ll probably end up using professional software anyway—but for quick videos on YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram, BIGVU does the job really well. What do you dislike about BIGVU?
On the downside, I’ve noticed the teleprompter can sometimes freeze, but restarting the app usually fixes that. Longer recordings also tend to make my phone heat up, though I suspect that’s more an issue with my device than the app itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
