The best thing about BeyondTrust Remote Support is its robust security and seamless connectivity across multiple platforms without needing a VPN. I love how it handles privilege elevation and credential injection, making complex troubleshooting feel incredibly smooth and professional. The automated session recording and detailed audit logs also provide great peace of mind for compliance and internal tracking.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

The interface can feel a bit dated and overwhelming at first, especially for new technicians who have to navigate through deep sub-menus. The licensing cost is significantly higher than other remote desktop tools, which makes it hard to justify for smaller IT teams. Additionally, the mobile app experience isn't as fluid as the desktop version, sometimes lagging during critical troubleshooting sessions.

BeyondTrust Remote Support solves the challenge of securely accessing unattended servers and employee devices across different networks without a VPN. Honestly, the best part is the granular access control and not having to deal with a VPN for secure connections. It makes the workflow much smoother, and the platform is incredibly stable. Also, the audit logs are a lifesaver for our compliance needs, giving us total peace of mind regarding security.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

The admin interface is a bit complex to navigate at first, so it takes some time to get used to it. Also, it can be a bit pricey for smaller teams, and the console sometimes feels a little heavy on resources when you're running several sessions at once.

**What problems is BeyondTrust Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it much easier to support remote users and vendors securely. The best part is that it works perfectly even through strict firewalls, which saves me a lot of time and hassle when I need to fix things remotely.

What I value most is the security and traceability it offers. It gives me great peace of mind to be able to conduct support sessions knowing that everything is encrypted and under regulatory control.

The cost is high compared to other simpler tools on the market, which can be a barrier for small teams or limited budgets.

Eliminate the difficulties in connecting with users on different networks, operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android), or remote locations, without the need to use complicated VPNs or open ports in the firewall.

**What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

I like that I can remotely access laptops, desktops (both Windows and MACs), and cellphones. It's helpful that when I remote into any device and have the right admin access, I can do almost everything. I also appreciate being able to use GUI or PowerShell commands, which allows me to see almost everything if the session isn't cut.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

There are some bugs at the moment to elevate the session or post-connection if the device is off for a couple of minutes. I would like a reconnect option using the same session, meaning if the connection is lost, it's necessary to create a new session. It would be nice to have a reconnection button. Also, it's difficult because it is integrated with multiple devices.

I use BeyondTrust Remote Support to help remote users fix issues with laptops, tablets, and cellphones. It allows me to access and manage these devices using GUI or PowerShell, ensuring comprehensive support.

**What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

This tool is very easy to use and manage, and the documentation provided is extremely thorough. I rely on bomgar daily to remotely access machines for troubleshooting and testing custom scripts. The ability to implement canned scripts has proven especially useful in my environment. Customer support to our users makes it very streamline. Integrations to our systems was not as hard since we got help with the implementation from the beyond trust team.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

Wish when creating a support ticket, they would respond a little faster.
Hopefully they can do PIV passthrough more seamless
Also expandable preview of the screen of a computer so we know if they are in a meeting or working before remoting in.

The chat functionality is excellent and genuinely helpful for end users. As an IT engineer, I appreciate that every remote action is logged and auditable, making it straightforward to review what was done. Additionally, the command line feature is great for some back-end action without distracting the end user.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

The menu UI design can seem a bit outdated although functional. Users may also feel that there are too many pop-up windows and prompts to click through before they can get to what they need. The file transfer feature sometimes does not work as expected for me.

**What problems is BeyondTrust Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an IT engineer is our go-to remote session tool to assist end users who face computer/software issues. We also use it to connect remotely to unattended physical devices used for monitoring, reporting etc. Honestly I even use it to manage computers next to me, from my main work computer.

What I like most about BeyondTrust Remote Support is how easy it makes helping people quickly without being in the same place. The biggest upsides are its strong security and reliable remote access, which let me solve problems faster and with less downtime.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

The least helpful thing about BeyondTrust is that it can feel confusing at first and takes time to learn. Sometimes it also feels slower than expected, which can be frustrating when you are trying to fix a problem quickly.

BeyondTrust Remote Support solves the problem of not being able to help someone in person when their computer is having issues. It benefits me by saving time, letting me fix problems faster, and helping people get back to work without long delays.

**What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

Beyond Trust Remote Support software is evolving to be better than ever. The new features that are being released are a direct result of end user support groups webinar, where users can talk about issues, suggest new ideas, and even talk about issues found. In the recent releases of BTRS we have seen many of the suggestions mentioned now being released.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

Beyond Trust has been improving the product to be more user friendly and this is a result of using suggestions from the user clients. They have added features that are evolving to streamline with the most modern of computing today. The special user group meetings are another great function that allows the clients to learn about new features that will be released and even the road maps that in future releases.

**What problems is BeyondTrust Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just started to use the Privileged Access Management for the company training staff to better optimize training in virtual means since the company has changed so much since Covid.

**What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

I like the functionality that lets me connect and work behind the scenes directly in the shell, or transfer files without having to take over someone else’s mouse and keyboard. I also appreciate being able to have the API handle jump client group joins.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

The UI feels a bit dated and stale. The documentation also leaves a lot to be desired, especially when you’re standing it up or trying to implement new features. Performance is generally pretty good, but it does hitch at times, and the lack of AI functionality within remote support is disappointing.

It lets me connect to end users remotely and help them get their computers fixed and running again.

**What do you like best about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

The product is feature rich and easy to use.  The onboarding team was super helpful and support is great.

**What do you dislike about BeyondTrust Remote Support?**

There is no option to sort endpoints by logged in end user.  You can manually enter the user as a comment on the endpoint which is sortable but that takes some time to do and manually updating is tedious.

**What problems is BeyondTrust Remote Support solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product makes it very easy to remotely support end users on premise or working remotely.  There is a web based console or a fat client console so using the product from my work computer or another machine I don't normally use while on call is very simple.  There is also a mobile app for quick access in a pinch.  I'm able to help end users whenever they need it wherever I am.
