## About BatchGeo
BatchGeo is the easiest way to get your list of addresses on a map. Since 2006 BatchGeo has hosted millions of maps for Fortune 50 companies, non-profits, and individuals. The idea behind BatchGeo is most geographic data is stored in some sort of spreadsheet, list, or simple table (ex: Excel, CSV, Google Spreadsheets, etc.) So its optimized for those formats, making it super easy to drag in or copy/paste your tabular data into a map. Once your data is mapped the real fun begins. Your data points are spread out on an easy to navigate Google Map. Data can be color coded by groups or ranges, or even heat mapped. If routing is what you are interested in, BatchGeo can give you optimized routes for up to 23 points at a time. This ensures you don't waste time when visiting your customers. Finally, if you want to share your map it's easy to do. You can choose if your map is to be secured (password protected) or generally available to the public. BatchGeo can even be used for a store locator for your website.

## BatchGeo Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive, Instant Color-Coded Maps from Excel—A Massive Time-Saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filiberto C. | Senior Branch Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo is incredibly intuitive; the ability to simply copy-paste Excel data and get an instant, color-coded map is a massive time-saver. It turns complex location data into a professional visual tool without requiring any technical expertise. It's the perfect solution for anyone needing fast, shareable geographic insights.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The Pro plan is quite expensive for small businesses, and the free version’s 250-record limit is very restrictive. It also lacks a live-sync feature with spreadsheets, meaning you have to re-upload data every time you make an update. Overall, it feels more like a basic visualization tool than a robust platform for deep data analysis.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BatchGeo solves the problem of manual data plotting by instantly converting spreadsheets into interactive maps. This benefits me by saving hours of technical work and allowing my team to visualize sales territories and delivery routes at a glance. It bridges the gap between raw data and actionable geographic insights without needing GIS expertise.

 ### 2. Batchgeo is the best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad S. | Millionaire dreams, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo is great because it quickly turns spreadsheet data into clean, interactive maps without needing any technical skills, making location-based insights easy to see and share.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo can feel limited for advanced users, with fewer customization options and analytics compared to more robust GIS or mapping platforms.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BatchGeo solves the problem of visualizing location data quickly and simply, which benefits me by making it easy to spot geographic patterns and share insights without complex tools or setup.

 ### 3. Easy to Use with Highly Accurate Maps

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

It’s easy to use, the maps are accurate, and I use it frequently.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I like the map-editing options, the number of features available, and the different ways to save my work.

It provides a clear visualization of our members and where they’re located.

 ### 4. Quick and easy use for a mapping product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam B. | Sales Account Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Very easy to map up and color code a variety of locations - perfect for comparing proximity, volume of locations, etc. Love that the maps can be sent or embedded/integrated into multiple touch points to share information and the variety of formatting makes it perfect for what i do

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

don't love that they limit/cap the number of locations that can have named markers (ex: if you have more than 26 locations, you can't use alphabetical markers). Also don't love that it caps how often i can use it per month, the frequency at which i require it is much more than it lists. would love it if they also included a radius feature.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

this provides a great high level overview capability of mapping out locations, pointing out proximity, and differentiating the locations while also recording/displaying data points about specific locations. the sharing capabilities are extremely helpful and the formatting/set up is very intuitive.

 ### 5. Excellent tool, pivotal to our marketing process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie W. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

It's simple to use and cost effective. The insights it provides drive our overarching marketing strategy, and the visuals are perfect for sharing in reports and with key stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

There's not really anything I would change

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can visually map out where our leads and sales are coming from, to then overlay with other data to improve our geo-targeting and make our marketing more cost effective through higher quality targeted leads.

 ### 6. BatchGeo is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff J. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like that you can paste the addresses into the input box, and yoiu can have them sorted by several criteria, and can include additional information about the address for any reasons. I use it for graphically identifying locations of properties I am looking at, and I can add information like price, and condition to the record, and see it when I click on the map icon

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It is a bit of a pain that you have to create the map, then go to your email to get the link to the map that was created.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

I think that everyone can benefit from using BatchGeo. If you want to see location data, this is the program to use.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like to look at several property locations at once, and see where they are actually located compared to each other and other know locations.

 ### 7. BatchGeo is the Best

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Would be good to have a step by step guide for how to use BatchGeo for beginners.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to map different locations of orgnisations in our project on one map

 ### 8. Review for Batch Geo - October 2023

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

We use it often. Easy user experience to implement and deploy big projects, Intuitive to use, and simple interface. Lots of different options to choose from. We have it integrated and we do use BatchGeo along with other software very often. So far I haven't needed to reach out to Customer support myself, but I've heard good things about it from my colleagues. Always willing to help.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It is hard to think about it now, but I'd say that probably with a slow internet connection you may have to wait a bit to load all the content.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us organize big projects to improve the travel costs and planning when deploying them. - Allows us to keep track of everything in one place. Very easy to use and integrate with other platforms.

 ### 9. Batchgeo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yvonne P. | CONTROLLER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I really like the flexibility of creating the maps

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

For a very few addresses, it marks them in a totally different state even though they are correct.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use BatchGeo to plan what customers we will serve each day to hit our deadlines.

 ### 10. BatchGeo is the perfect solution to help me map and plan jobs across several states!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derrek S. | Field Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo is incredibly easy to use! I enjoy how simple it is to import a spreadsheet of names and addresses and how quickly a map generates thereafter. It feels intuitive to use, and the speed at which maps are generated adds positively to my overall experience.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I haven't encountered anything that I outright dislike about it. For my needs, it works perfectly as intended and allows me to plan travel routes quite easily.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

I haven't explored any other options for accomplishing these tasks and managing data in quite the way that BatchGeo does because it's been a one-stop shop!

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, I would be presented with a list of names and addresses that I would have to enter into Google Maps manually. Then, I would have to spend a good deal of time trying to map and re-map routes between a dozen addresses in a tedious effort to visualize a proper path to take. Now, with BatchGeo, I'm able to visualize all the assignments ahead of me. This cuts down on time, frustration, and costs! A win all around!

 ### 11. Excellent tool to organise visits to client's business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

You can easily create regional or projects maps in a few simple steps. With a little tuning, our Excel clients list can become a map with markers that let me know where's the closest prospect or engaged client. You can add just enough information to get a good idea of the condition, purchases, account manager, web login of the client you'll be visiting. I can launch Google Maps to get precise directions with a simple click; it's an AWESOME feature!

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It's tough to browse through the map using a cellphone. You often get moved to a planetary aerial view.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company used to send me on the road with printed paper client's catalog. In the city center, I used to turn around a lot because of our imprecise road maps. I'm now saving a lot of time and gas, and I'm also holding on paper. It helps me visit more clients in a shorter time. I can testify that in my case, BatchGeo made a difference for the environment. If 75% of representatives on the road used BatGeo, it would make a huge difference.

 ### 12. Great way to visualize locations of groups, and even add them to Google Earth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like the easy copy/paste way to add spreadsheet data for geocoding. Customizing labels etc. easy.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Would like to export directly to .kml file after mapping without having to first wait for an email (no big deal, though.) Marker colors and shapes don't seem to carry over to Google Earth when exported to .kml and imported to Google Earth.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

I am using the free version since I do not use it sufficiently to pay the monthly fee, but it is a very helpful tool that could be very much worth it for a larger user.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am creating Camp boundaries using the Google Earth polygon tool. Then using membership data and church location data to place markers for each member location and each church location. It gives a good at-a-glance overview of where are members are located in relationship to the churches in their Camp area.

 ### 13. Good product could use some updates

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like that I can upload and download and excel file to create my maps. This makes things very easy for editing and review purposes.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I would like the ability to draw boundaries of some kind that would then let me turn the plot points on one side one color and the other side another color. This helps when we are looking to divide the plots on a map in territories. Currently I have to do this manually by searching my excel sheet and making manual changes.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Batchgeo is good for our mapping purposes and to help us in seeing our member populations. I have used this to create maps in many parts of the US and I have found no issues.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving how to divide populations of individuals among my field employees and also looking at the disbursement of our individuals. This is helping us to visually see our needs and member base. Also this is benefiting our employees by having them able to visually see their populations. I do like and find helpful that the address links to google maps for easy direction guidance.

 ### 14. Great tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I love that you can add any details about a location (Name, Address, Phone Number, Contact, Notes/Details in relation. It is so nice that you don't have to toggle back and forth between any other document. Also love that this can be used on an iPhone/iPad, as it is really easy to use while traveling.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

If you happen to make a mistake, it is difficult to go back and make changes. I feel like it is easier to go back and start all over. Changes are difficult. Aside from that, if you have lots of pings in one location, or very close together, sometimes you miss all locations/items unless you zoom in greatly. I think a newer feature has been added since, now allowing the ping to show a number, 2, 3, 4, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Make sure you put everything in to an Excel spreadsheet, exactly as how you would like to see it in BatchGeo. This helps minimize errors and helps create the best map.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is great for me professionally when visiting many locations at one time. For example, for my job, I have a tendancy to visit a lot of nail salons, spas, barber shops, etc in one day. This allows me to plan my day and show a route accordingly, instead of driving all over the place. BatchGeo allows me to visit a ton of places near each other, without having to use other map tools, such as MapQuest. BatchGeo makes my day so much easier when visiting tons of places in a single day!

 ### 15. I love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Migro G. | Backoffice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

With the service batchgeo, you can transfer addresses from Excel or OpenOffice Calc directly to Google Maps. The web app then saves a map with all the entered data for you. An exciting online service that allows you to quickly and easily compile travel routes or calculate distances, for example.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Nothing at all. It works excellently and is highly recommended!

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Quick, simple, and efficient. A practical helper for everyday life. It works excellently and is highly recommended for those who are traveling for business and need easy access to data.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this app every day for business purposes and work seamlessly through the website.

 ### 16. Easy to use, accurate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise B. | Assistant professor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I was able to easily and quickly create my map using data in an Excel file. I was able to make changes to the Excel file to update the map. No difficult or confusing software instructions or skills needed.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I would like more of a choice for map icons rather than just colored pins

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I place nursing students with medical clinics all over the city. I use the map to see where the students will have the shortest commute to their respective clinics. It increases student and teacher satisfaction

 ### 17. I like BatchGeo, it is helpful.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew N. | Senior Director Of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo has made it helpful to visualize and strategically position our business footprint in the right places to maximize our opportunities to grow our company.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Some of the reporting features are lacking for analyzing the batch geo-coded addresses further. I would like to see this functionality expanded in order to take a deeper dive in understanding our information.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Consider BatchGeo as an option to add to your tool belt if you have a lot of locations to map at once.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started with lots of information but little ability to visualize it well. BatchGeo has helped us understand the placement of critical addresses briefly to make high-level strategic decisions.

 ### 18. Mapping out Multiple Locations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Batch Geo is easy to use and very useful for mapping multiple points of data in a map. I use it for showing me how close our vendors HQ's are from stores that are in need of our services.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I do not like the new feature where your map has to be emailed to you separately, when it previously would automatically be created for you once you input your parameters.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When dealing with a lot of businesses/vendors and finding which locations are close to others, Batch Geo makes it very easy to input a bunch of addresses into it's software, then gives you a map with pinpoints to each address. This helps to see a visual representation of locations in order to determine where & how close places are in relation to each other.

 ### 19. Makes Territory Management Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregory D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I love how easy it is to upload my locations using a spread sheet. I also enjoy the layout; the map drop pins are clean, and they display the vital information I've uploaded.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The site seems to not play well with safari on my iPad. At times my locations do not show on my iPad.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I travel in multiple territories; I use BatchGeo to split my region into districts using color coded pins on the map. I can easily identify the district within the region I am working during the week.

 ### 20. BatchGeo is a game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant M. | CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The best feature is being able to load various data sets relevant to our business up into BatchGeo and to filter and focus on what is essential.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo is the leader in the mapping category and is not better known.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We sort data by specific criteria in a table, then BatchGeo helps us focus our energy by visualising customer data in the real world.

 ### 21. BatchGeo is simple, elegant, and easy to get great results.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamara H. | Program Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like that I can customise my view. I also really like that if I've made an error or I've made a choice in uploading my data, re-doing the query / the batch is really simple and isn't a hassle.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I don't love the canned ham Google pins in the map. I'd really love to be able to customise those elements if I'm paying for the subscription (which I am!).

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

If you need to map location data to tell a great story, and you're not a data engineer, this is a delight to use.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving challenges related to showing scale up. Because of the way that BatchGeo 'shows' others where my work is, it's more of a show, not tell, and that story is easier to convey--quickly. I'm able to use the maps in a myriad of mediums from presentations to Slack channels to simple email attachments, and they're not a huge file size. Super nimble, easy to share stories of programmatic reach/scale.

 ### 22. Great Product! Easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandi B. | Area Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I have been using this product for a few years now. I like that it's easy to copy and paste data from an excel sheet and I like the color coded map. It's like that your recently accessed maps are saved so you can go back and view them at any time. The maps are very easy to use and it's simple to zoom in and zoom out. It is very easy to use and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

There is nothing I dislike. It's a great tool!

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

It's worth it! Saves loads of time!

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very easy for be to look at a large amount of data and easily map it out to get a great visual of where everything is and how they are related to each other. In my job, I supports account managers that have many locations assigned to them and this makes it easy for me to ensure that their territories are equal and fair.

 ### 23. Easy, and good fit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James C. | Music minister, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Easy use of feature set even available on free tier

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Can't recover work I lost because I forgot a monthly confirmation

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Compare BatchGeo to what Google offers under My Maps; you may want to combine both services, which is easy. Also, check BatchGeo plans and pricing to sign up for what's best fit for your needs.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BatchGeo to create maps of our 600 locations for use with specific projects, e.g. job walks for school infrastructure upgrades. I paste the info in including custom fields and get online-viewable and importable maps.

 ### 24. Great way to batch upload data points for mapping purposes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike T. | BC Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The user interface is very intuitive and can allow for slicing of data sets to be done on the fly for the most optimal use case. One of the best parts features of BatchGEO is that data can be uploaded by csv file and include any information you want on the output map. The fact that it's free to use is also remarkable for smaller organizations. I also appreciate that there are two different ways in which the map can be shown allowing for the best use case scenario.

The mobile interface is one that I haven't personally tried yet but it appears to have the same promising features as the full retail desktop environment. I'm also a fan of the fact that the maps can be private and not publically accessible which is a huge bonus when importing sensitive data.

One pro-tip is that if you need to find a list of your old maps in the system and you haven't created an account before, you can navigate to login, enter the associated email address you've used, and click forget password. It will email the list of maps on file back to that email address which is a nice bonus.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I don't like the fact that each time a map is generated or edited an email will be sent to your inbox. This can get quite tiresome when manipulating mass data sets and each adjustment triggering an email alert.

Secondly, to edit each map, one needs to navigate through the links provided to get back to the data set, which can be confusing if you're trying to fix one or two things at a time and getting a lot of email notifications while doing so. Once a user is in a set map there isn't an intuitive way to return back to the data set for editing.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was trying to visualize on a map of all current accounts and potential sales opportunities for a given region. It allowed me to batch upload the data in an easy-to-use format so I can project growth by region and visualize the data quicker than plugging each address into something more rudimentary like Google Maps.

 ### 25. Amazing easy to use service with great features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan P. | Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The best part about batchGEO is the ability to quickly paste in spreadsheet data and use batchGeos features to manipulate the data to create excellent maps. I am a heavy user of batchGEO and one of my favorite features is the "calculate distance in miles from the first address". This has been extremely helpful with my work!

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

There is not much to dislike about batchGEO; however, I do I have one issue which I think is worth mentioning. From time to time the editing map data function does not work (i.e. upon editing the data it won't recognize any locations). However an easy fix to this problem is just to make a new map, which takes less than one minute due.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to quickly visualize a comparable set of real properties with the batchGEO map functionality. Being able to see a large set of data in an efficient way has very much enhanced my work experience.

 ### 26. Great mapping software for a professional setting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexa S. | Marketing Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I really like how easy the program is to use. I always like how you can group different colored points on the same map. My sales managers like that when you type in a zip code, it tells you which locations are closest to it. This makes it really easy for them to plan their business trips and also direct end users to our dealers.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

One downside is that you can only map 200-250 points before having to pay. The month subscription is kind of expensive, and I wish there was an option to pay 1 time to map more points.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

I don't really have any advice.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping our sales managers direct end users to a dealer quicker than they were able to before. They used to have to type each dealer in Google to see who was closest, but now, they can just use Batchgeo. It is also great to make maps for presentations to see where we have gaps.

 ### 27. Gamechanger for my mapping work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The popup box that shows all the information I need from my database, drag and drop is very easy to use, works well with Excel

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I need to remember the format I want on the pop-up box because the labels of the box do not match the labels on my table.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I map where our field teams are planting churches in Africa and it's a great way to monitor their work. I can easily see that they are within the region where they are assigned to work. Also, I can tell if our teams might have inaccurately reported GPS coordinatesjust by looking at the map on Google Earth. I share the map with my team, and they are very excited about it. It helps them strategize operations and communicate with the field better.

 ### 28. Knock Out Those Maps Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Eassy interface that even execs can use, with enough power to do significant mapping.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The only downside is the limitations of the underlying maps - it would be great to get a few more GIS-light features like adding radiuses and shading areas by rule

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

If you need fast maps from whatever data you've been given, BatchGeo is your best bet.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is no better way to quickly visualize data in geographic form. WIth the simple interface, changes can be quickly turned around, and with the export functions, a first pass can be moved out to apps with more power.

 ### 29. Batch Geo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber C. | Human Resources Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like that Batch Geo is super user friendly. It’s easy to use and navigate. There are clear areas on the website where to put data. Not lots of unnecessary information

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I just found out about it. I would have utilized it much sooner had I heard about it

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

If you are looking for a quick way to route data and addresses - BatchGeo is the place for you. I use it professionally and just recently used it when I purchased a new home.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A couple months ago Iowa was hit with a derecho. I work at a construction company and roofing houses is one of our divisions. After the big storm, lots of people needed roof repairs all over the state. Our roofing director had an upward of 12 appointments each day and we used Batch Geo to route him to his appointments in a way that made sense and best utilized his time.

 ### 30. Great Resource!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like how I can use the map to plan my trips. It is an awesome tool that saves me a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Right now nothing. Sometimes I have to zoom in because the text is smaller but it is worth it to see the entire region I am searching for.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before BatchGeo I struggled to plan my trips efficiently. I have saved time and effort not only in the trip planning process but also when I get out to the region I am traveling to.

 ### 31. Great way to map out all your location!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry G. | Ground Radio Technician / Airport Radio Tech, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Able to dump a spreadsheet on the website and map out all the locations! Very detailed about each entry! Super app on iOS platform

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Sometimes I get a error when I open the app. Also sometime it does t show my location when I move around on the map with all the points of interest mapped out.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Good app to track all the places to go to!

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking locations of places to go to. It’s easy to keep track of the places you have to go to.

 ### 32. Simple, Effective and Free!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie P. | Analyst, Retail Investment Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I love how simple it is to just drag and drop your data, no uploads or special formatting needed. Then you can quickly and easily preview your data and organise how it presents.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The website itself is not a "pretty" as it could be, would be better if it could look more professional as these maps are often creating for formal presentations.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Its a great mapping service; its simple, its free and it ticks 99% of the boxes you need!

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is great when making site comparisons within a radius, either for sale or to purchase. It is much simpler to have the high level information in the popup address boxes as you can scroll over the interactive map, interactive is always more engaging and adds an extra level to any presentation.

 ### 33. Powerful, Intuitive Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2020

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Easy to use - especially the interface with Excel.
Intuitiveness of program.
Visual simplicity of mapped results works well for my clients.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I have often wished to have different markers and/or more "sets" of markers on my mapped results. I also find that I have to delete a map to make a new map...unless I want to upgrade ($99/month!) to Pro.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Try BatchGEO out. I think you'll find it super easy to use.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly I map facilities in order to expedite a delivery/pick-up program. Sometimes I map facilities to determine a strategic objective - like which area of town to focus my efforts.

 ### 34. BatchGeo is an amazing, easy to use mapping tool. WE LOVE IT!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurie N. | Database Manager-Administrative Clerk, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The ability to include numerous data fields AND the ease of adding/mapping that data. Oh! And the 'hover' function that allows us to view the data easily once it has been mapped.
THANK YOU BATCHGEO <3

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It would be nice to be able to copy/paste more than the allotted 250 records at a time. ( i think that limitation might be only applied to the free version... ?)

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By mapping our current Donor Database, we can see areas that would be most beneficial to mail into.

 ### 35. Great for traveling businesspeople!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Being able to look at all of my accounts at once and plan my trips efficiently. I like to see where all of my accounts that I visit monthly are and plan my days and weeks accordingly.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Being able to have estimated drive times between two or more points would be a huge improvement. Currently I have to open up google maps which Batch Geo does make convenient with 1 click but it could be streamlined more by integrating drive times into the system.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not encountered any problems yet.

 ### 36. Great navigation tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** April W. | Sr. Technology Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Batch Geo makes it so easy for me to plan my day.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I'm not too fond of the way you see the names itemized on the sheet. For some reason, when the fields populate, there always seems to be the very first company name on every single entry. I am cautious about laying out the company name, city, state, zip code. and still, that company's name will show up on every entry, and it can be confusing.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can sink the map directly from my email to see what company is closest to me, so I am not wasting time and gas. Also, the maps are saved so I can use them again. Very good to hit every account every so often.

 ### 37. Stellar Mapping Service Until they removed features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Functionality that still after YEARS Google Maps has yet to implement. Ability to map tens of thousands of data points and layer exponentially.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

iOS app was glitchy. UI could use a refresh.

UPDATE: They stopped emailing receipts and now make you dig through their menus to find them. For those of use needed to expense receipts, this takes something that was streamlined and simple and makes it unnecessarily cumbersome and time-consuming. Why are we regressing on features?

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mapping out our clients to organize business site visit trips effectively.

 ### 38. I can see my data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd C. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

With BatchGeo, my data makes sense and is easy to share with others.
Sales by region is one area where BatchGeo has been a game-changer.
Being able to see each region then zoom right down to the individual sale has been a real bonus.
The information that is attached to each sale is entirely in my control too. Therefore, clicking on an individual sale shows the client details and what they purchased, and when.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I haven't found anything that I don't like in BatchGeo.
I recommend it as a great way to make your data make sense.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Don't think about it a moment longer; try BatchGeo.
You won't regret it.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BatchGeo turns my sales data into new sales.

 ### 39. Great and Easy Tool For Geocoding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | Energy Efficiency Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I love how easy BatchGeo is to use and also that it is free to use for the tasks my organiztion needs. All you need to get started is a spreadsheet with addresses. It's so intuitive that even first-time users can figure out how to import spreadsheets and export those addresses to a map.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It's a basic tool that does not offer advanced GIS options and analysis features. If you are looking for more advanced mapping features then BatchGeo might not be for you.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Try the free features first so you can familiarize yourself with the basic features of the software. Also, use sample data to get started if you don't have a spreadsheet that needs to be geocoded.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales team uses BatchGeo to help determine sales territories and which customer accounts are visited during their weekly sales calls. It's great for mapping trips between customers and also for seeing which customers are clustered together.

 ### 40. Easy and affordable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adriana G. | Account Manager , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

It is a fast and smart mapping tool, you just need to have your spreadsheet ready or copy and paste your data and you will be able to map your locations. BatchGeo lets you customize your maps by choosing different icons for different data sets. You can also save your maps and easily share links with your clients when proposing new campaign strategies, sharing available OOH placement locations, or sharing polygon locations drawn for retargeting. Our DSP is a location-based platform that allows us to draw precise polygons in order to capture the device IDs that have entered that perimeter in the past 5 years. However, once we draw our list of locations drawn, there is no way we can share a visualization of where these locations are placed on a map. With BatchGeo, we are able to export our addresses and lat and longs from our DSP and directly upload them onto this tool, allowing us to share this visualization with partners and clients.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

You need to get a Pro account if you want to protect your maps with a password.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Keep your data organized as much as possible. As BatchGeo will organize it the same way.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients looking to visualize the location of our OOH placements. Using BatchGeo we are able to provide in a simple and fast way a medium for our clients to look into the available inventory. We also use it to share with clients polygoned locations for retargeting in our digital campaigns.

 ### 41. Make a map of all your spots!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris C. | OPI certified - full, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo is the go-to spot to make a map of a high number of locations that you would like to visualize. It is easy to paste it all into the website, and the site picks up on address data. If you have a lot of deliveries or visits to make, or if you'd like to quickly create a map indicating where all of your students or employees live, this is the spot.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I hope that in the future, BatchGeo will include a navigation feature in the site - that is, the capability to enter a start location and then suggest a navigation route to all the locations put in. I was hoping for that. Please consider partnering with Google Maps to do this! If this is already possible, I didn't clearly see it. This is a very promising website, and I will definitely be using it again.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I ran an online camp for middle schoolers in our city and metro area this summer. To save on shipping, I decided to hand deliver a lot of items. I was able to take the home address info of the students, which already existed on a spreadsheet, and paste in into BatchGeo. I appreciate that data about the points plotted will pop up. That really helped me a lot. It would have taken a long time for me to look at all of the 25 addresses and determine a good route if I hadn't had access to BatchGeo. I found it by Googling something along the lines of "website to make a map by pasting a high number of addresses".

 ### 42. Invaluable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave W. | Owner/Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The ease of use of BatchGeo is what keeps me coming back. I simply drop in my spreadsheet and my points are populated. It doesn't get any easier. I also like that I have the ability to edit and customize the details for each site. I use it for different projects and this feature is key when I need to title items differently or add additional identification information.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I'd like to see the ability to customize/optimize routes to and from locations I plot.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BatchGeo allows me to do in a couple clicks what used to take me hours to do manually. It has been an enormous time-saver over the years.

 ### 43. Best tool for my business logistics!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Efa M. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo is super simple and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

There is nothing that I dislike about the platform. It is very minor but I wish I could upload a custom pin so that we could have a little more branded map for our team but that is not a true dislike. (It may be possible I just have not found it yet)

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

BatchGeo is great for any logistical needs or showcasing a business's reach with current, past, or future projects. You could use it to map corporate headquarters and much more. The thing that we do to make it extremely easy is that we first create a google spreadsheet with all of the rows of data with the column headers so that we can just copy and paste right into BatchGeo's mapping tool.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I was having before BatchGeo was how to get the most out of my real estate photographers' days. We work with larger multifamily management companies and the apartments can be so spread out that we were wasting so much time in the car. After finding BatchGeo we were able to empower our operations team to call and plan the schedule in the most efficient logistical order.

 ### 44. Makes scheduling so much easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura E. | Production/Editorial Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo shows locations on map for ease.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

There is nothing about BatchGeo I dislike.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling my photographer for photo shoots is easy when I can make sure his day is geographically organized.

 ### 45. BatchGeo is an indispensable tool in my work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The simplicity of the tool to use is it's greatest feature.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The tool requires that you pull away from the web browser to open an email to view the results. A minor inconvenience but it does provide an easy way to recall your map.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool informs my work travel in a significant way. It shows me where I need to be spending my time.

 ### 46. Easy and intuitive mapping using Google Maps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

You can copy and paste data to make it simple to map and add filters.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The row limits make large maps difficult. You need to select certain views to add fileting. It's not easy to protect the data from being scraped.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Great simple tool for getting pins on a map with additional data

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Presenting real estate data to clients I generate using models. It's super easy to send them private links to private maps.

 ### 47. Good quick mapping tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabelle W. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Easy to map and settings are straightforward. We used the free version for a while until we needed to map more comps and now subscribe.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Only thing I dislike is a few missing features. I wish we could overlay maps. I'd like the columns in table view to be lined up, and I'd like to be able to export the data in the table view (like distance from the first row).

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's our go-to mapping software as a team. We can easily map out locations and see which properties could be competitors. Free version is enough for 90% of the team members, and then some subscribe to map more data.

 ### 48. Has made business planning a breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon P. | Senior territory business manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I love that you can color code each line. I use this for business planning and logistics for pharmaceutical sales. I color code things by days of the weeks I can visit. It makes planning so much quicker

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I just don't like how few times you can view when on the free trial.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

I've tried numerous other apps to plot out my offices and this one has the most options to easily plan your routing efficiently.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logistics for a huge territory that I cover almost 100 offices. It makes planning each week a little easier to see each office in relation to one another

 ### 49. Extremely useful only one shortcoming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The auto recognition of location columns and wide range of location format acceptance is impressive. Clustering is extremely helpful and google maps requires and API and manual coding to do that.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Categories/grouping, you're only allowing 7 or 8. Google allows many more than that and for some projects I have to use both maps.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Do the free trial you'll be surprised how easy and accurate it is.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualizing where groups of jobs are for routing and scheduling. We do projects installing GPS on fleets of vehicles for big companies and mapping where all those are can be extremely helpful.

 ### 50. BatchGeo is always here for me and my team. The maps are easy to use and send to my sales reps.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The functionality of the map categories and simple visuals on the map.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The maps expire but that can be fixed if we were to upgrade our account.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BatchGeo helps my sales reps to plan their routes so they can visit their accounts without using too much gas or using up their car miles. It can be beneficial to plan visits to accounts.
