Before Basis, most of our month-end close was manual work that nobody on the team enjoyed. Categorizing transactions, chasing missing receipts, reconciling accounts across a dozen client ledgers. Our senior accountants were spending their days on data entry instead of reviewing numbers and talking to clients.

Basis took over most of that groundwork. It handles the reconciliations and bookkeeping prep, flags anything it isn’t sure about, and leaves a clear trail of what it did and why. That last part mattered a lot to us, because we’re still the ones signing off on the books. I can open any entry and see the reasoning behind it, so reviewing its work is fast and I actually trust it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
