What do you like best about Barracuda Data Inspector?

The ability to search for specific data types across your entire SharePoint/OneDrive estate. You can see the file containing the data including the contents with the specific data redacted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Barracuda Data Inspector?

Data accuracy is increasing, but it does return a few false positives. You need to have time to review and remediate the findings, especially if you have a large user base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Barracuda Data Inspector solving and how is that benefiting you?

Often as an admin you have no idea what is being stored in the cloud. Data Inspector allows you to find and deal with GDPR breaches. It uses OCR to inspect non-text documents such as JPG or PDF. People like to scan their driver's licenses or passports for (sometimes) work-specific reasons but then store it on OneDrive for convenience. This will find those scans and report them. You can click onto the report and see the scan with the passport number redacted. It does the same with passwords, credit card numbers, bank account numbers, and more.
