What do you like best about bananaz?

One of the features I appreciate most in bananaz is the 2D granular compare tool- it lets us easily identify even the smallest changes between drawing versions, down to specific dimensions, annotations, or geometry tweaks.

This level of visibility helps us catch discrepancies early, avoid costly mistakes, and dramatically reduce the time we spend on design reviews. Instead of manually scanning PDFs or second-guessing changes, we get a clear, side-by-side view that keeps the whole team aligned and confident in what’s been updated. What do you dislike about bananaz?

Initially, one thing I found limiting was the inability to place inspection balloons directly on top of the drawing without creating a new version of an already approved file. This was important for our QA workflow, where we needed to mark up drawings post-approval without triggering a formal change process.

I shared this feedback with the bananaz team. They customized and developed a solution that met our needs perfectly. What problems is bananaz solving and how is that benefiting you?

bananaz is helping us solve three major pain points in our mechanical design workflow:

First, the 2D granular compare feature allows us to instantly detect even the smallest differences between drawing revisions - something that used to take a lot of manual effort and was prone to human error. This directly leads to fewer mistakes and helps us reduce review time significantly.

Second, by having all feedback and communication in one centralized platform, we no longer need to juggle between emails, PDFs, and chat threads. Everyone sees the same thing, in the right context, and the conversation stays connected to the model or drawing itself.
