I have used this service for years and am somewhat happy. I always like having plenty of redundancy and this service provides it. All of my Workspace data which is invaluable to me is seamlessly and automatically backed up. This provides peace of mind should anything ever happen where something happened to my Google data. Datto purchased Backupify in 2014 and I was a customer prior to that, so I am a Legacy customer. The Login process for Legacy customers and getting to settings is harder than it should be and not necessarily intuitive. I have been prompted to make billing updates in the last couple of months and found it tedious to access the area I need to enter.

Update now Backupify is owned by Kaseya, and even more challenges with simple things like upgrading credit card information, which can not be done online. I would enjoy seeing BtoC customers treated a little better. It would seem to me that making more features self-service features would lower costs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have used Backupify to protect thousands of our client's email accounts (including our own) over the past several years and it has always been there when we need it the most. As mentioned in my first review, it is simple to use and train our team on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would still like to see added flexibility in our ability to create a backup schedule more than 3x per day. (Or at least customize the 3 times per day.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Makes it easier to back up the entire org from a single point. It was simple to install as an admin for the entire org but you do have to have at least one user that is a member on a shared drive so it can be backed up! The interface does not show folder hierchy properly so it makes finding files a little harder but its good for the price Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used several, probably 6 or 7 backup systems before finding Backupify. I was an IT Director at the time, and now I consult full time. Well, Backupify is always in my recommendations for backups. Implementation couldn't be easier, and managing it, what little there is to manage, is even simpler than getting started. They do backups, consistency checks, and the dashboards let you know if something didn't happen or failed with simple red, yellow, and green indicators.

I've now integrated it across dozens of environments, and it takes the same 10-15 minutes each time.

I've only contacted customer support 2x...in the 6+ years I've been using it. They've been very helpful, but the need to contact them is minimal because the product works just that well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No SSO with M365. I've been told its on the roadmap for the last 3 years...I've not yet seen even a beta. I see they got the KaseyaOne SSO done super quickly after the merger. That's frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product largely works fine, the support experience is fine, accounts are terrible

The account management experience is poor, it is the worst experience of any of my current suppliers

1) They always call at 3am in the morning, ignoring the timezone I am in. The one time I picked up and asked them to email me instead of calling, they said OK, but never emailed me.

2) They always chase you for unpaid invoices, which you have actually paid

3) They don't actually send you invoices when they are SUPPOSED to send them, resulting in unknown/unpaid invoices

4) They don't respond when you email them

Backupify is easy to set up and install. Once installed, it pretty much just works. It grabs backups three times a day of data in Office 365 or Google Workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EDIT: There is no longer "unlimited" data included. You get 100gb per user pooled across all your accounts.

The interface is a little slow to respond, especially when you have a large number of customers or a large number of mailboxes. I also wish that there was support for other platforms like Dropbox or Box. Backupify does not backup data in Exchange Archive mailboxes, which generally isn't a problem unless you migrate data directly into the archive mailboxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great product. Setup of backup policy is easy and the user interface is clean and simple. We have been with Backupify for about 8 years now and I have had no issues with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keyword seach is limited if your trying to find emails based on keywords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Something we have used for years and is always reliable. We don't need to think about it to rely on it.

We love the ability to go back over different Google files and versions to pick out the very one we'd lost previously - it has got us out of a pickle quite a few times! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Backupify to backup our partners Office 365 tenant and it has allowed us to restore partners emails and IMPORTANT users who have previously left. It is extremely simple to implement. It also interfaces with our PSA system. Datto's Tech support is also top notch. Highly recommend this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
