"BackBlaze: Best Backup System for the Money!"

What do you like best about Backblaze Computer Backup?

1) I like that BackBlaze is constantly running in the background, securely uploading new and edited data from your computer. If you have a fast upload speed, BackBlaze will take advantage of that speed and get the data to the cloud quickly.

2) It will upload as much as you let it, all you can eat. Currently, I have over 120 terabytes of files on their cloud, a huge collection of hard drives, much like the hard drives I have at home.

3) If you pay for the yearly option, which I do, it will keep your files online and safe for one year, if your drive/computer goes down. This is a very handy feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backblaze Computer Backup?

I cannot find much of a downside for BackBlaze, other than, of course, it cannot upload your data when your computer is off and/or you are offline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Backblaze Computer Backup solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have a Toshiba 18TB hard drive that’s starting to fail. I can’t repair it, and while I can still copy files from it, I’m no longer able to delete anything. I checked BackBlaze online, and the backup for this drive includes all the files I have at home. So if the hard drive stops working completely, I’ll still have my files on BackBlaze for a year, which gives me plenty of time to recover everything.

That extra time also lets me shop around for a good deal on a replacement drive when I have the funds to buy one. Overall, using BackBlaze gives me more confidence that my backup system is solid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
