Azure Disk Storage improves the efficiency of our analytical applications running on Azure virtual machines and assures quick access to relevant databases for SQL Server hybrid workloads.

It provides scalable, high-performance disk storage for virtual machines that allow us to add or remove storage capacity as our data operations/analytical applications need.
