It allows us to create runbooks that handle routine processes such as resource management, maintenance tasks, and scheduled operations. The integration with other Azure services is seamless, which makes it easy to automate workflows across virtual machines, networking, storage, and other cloud resources. I also like the flexibility it offers with PowerShell and Python runbooks. This allows teams to implement automation using familiar scripting tools. Features like schedules, webhooks, and integration with Azure monitoring tools make it easier to trigger automations based on events or operational needs. Overall, it helps reduce manual work and improves consistency across environments. **What do you dislike about Azure Automation?** The interface and debugging experience could be improved. Troubleshooting runbooks is sometimes more complicated than expected, especially when dealing with complex workflows or hybrid environments. Execution logs can lack detailed context, which makes diagnosing failures slower. These benefit everyone since it saves manual work by a platform engineer and also provided a user friendly way for customer to directly handle things on their own. ### 4. The programming interface is minimal and very simple to use. The cost of the service is reasonable since there are other competitors that offer paid solutions with a lot less useful functions. The quality of the platform is outstanding and it can save you a ton of money by decreasing cost to your project. **What do you dislike about Azure Automation?** I do not have anything that I dislike about this platform. **Recommendations to others considering Azure Automation:** I recommend you to try the platform as soon as you can in order to check if it saves you time and money. For us, we started seeing a direct benefit few hours after playing with the platform. The platform is very reliable. **What problems is Azure Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?** Azure Automation has helped me solve repetitive tasks when building my apps. One of the benefits is that I can simply save the routines and execute them anytime I need. A lot of my projects all share a common interface and this saves me time without having to start everything from scratch. ### 9. It should allow runbooks to execute for more than 90 minutes. - Not clarity.
