What I like most about AWS CloudFormation is how seamlessly it integrates with other AWS services, along with the ability to manage infrastructure using reusable templates. For automated deployments, the performance has been reliable, and the UI feels straightforward once you’ve spent a bit of time getting familiar with it. Because it’s included as part of the AWS ecosystem, it provides solid value by cutting down on manual work and helping reduce deployment errors. Onboarding does take some time, but the official documentation and support have been helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One drawback is the learning curve, particularly when you’re building more complex templates. Troubleshooting failed deployments can also be challenging, since the error messages aren’t always clear or specific. And with larger infrastructure stacks, updates may take longer than I expect.
