We’ve experienced some friction and pain points from a client perspective as we’ve introduced Avetta as our global standard for contractor management. In particular, we’ve seen significant supplier pushback around registering in Avetta, mainly due to membership fees, the administrative burden on suppliers, reports of poor or very slow customer support from Avetta for suppliers, and resulting vendor relationship issues.

From the perspective of our internal contractor management teams, requiring our contractors and suppliers to be registered in Avetta in order to work on our sites can feel like it’s effectively pushing out small to medium-sized contractor companies. The concern is that it ends up favoring larger companies that can more easily absorb the subscription costs and navigate the more cumbersome pre-qualification requirements.
