What do you like best about Avetta?

Avetta streamlines contractor management by shifting contractor and supplier oversight from a manual, reactive process to a standardized, proactive system that supports both safety and operational excellence. The platform’s ability to standardize processes at scale has delivered tremendous value. By automating contractor onboarding, refresher training, and supplier prequalification, Avetta eliminated hundreds of hours of administrative effort while ensuring consistent expectations across the organization. What was once managed through spreadsheets, emails, and site-specific processes is now transparent, auditable, and easily scalable.

Most importantly, Avetta helps us make better decisions. The visibility provided through its dashboards and reporting allows us to proactively identify risks, hold sites and suppliers accountable, and focus resources where they will have the greatest impact. What do you dislike about Avetta?

One drawback is that some contractors initially see Avetta as extra administrative work and may push back on the qualification or training requirements. This can make onboarding and supplier adoption more challenging at first. However, once expectations are clearly set, the system ends up saving time by reducing repetitive paperwork, standardizing training, and offering a single source of truth for compliance management. What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to implementing Avetta, our company faced significant inefficiencies in managing contractors and suppliers across multiple sites. Supplier qualification was highly manual and tracked through spreadsheets. This approach required extensive administrative time and offered no centralized, enterprise-level visibility into supplier compliance, qualification status, or safety performance. Each site largely operated independently, with no effective way to confirm whether suppliers had met requirements at other locations and no consistent method to evaluate or trend supplier safety performance. Purchasing reviews were mostly limited to insurance certificates and contractual documentation, which created a compliance-focused process rather than an embedded, risk-based evaluation. As a result, decisions were often made without an accurate view of our risk exposure.

Avetta supplier prequalification has standardized our process and streamlined the collection of documentation. Within the Avetta platform, users across our sites and at the corporate level now have real-time visibility into which suppliers are qualified, as well as which suppliers have shown poor performance or have compliance gaps. This has enabled us to move from a reactive, paperwork-driven process to a proactive, risk-based approach to contractor and supplier management. By centralizing compliance, safety, and qualification data in one system, Avetta has improved decision-making, increased accountability, reduced administrative burden, and ensured consistent standards across all locations.
