"Automate ETL/business workloads"

4/5

What do you like best about Automic Automation?

Best for automating batch jobs and applicative processes.

I have been using it automate oracle(sql) and linux jobs and put them together in Workflows for daily/weekly execution.

Schedule allows user to specify the time and frequency of execution, so easily we can set the timing of execution. Process monitoring feature makes it easier to see the execution history of any object/job.

One of the very useful feature is alerting, which automatically sends mail to the developer/group if any job fails.

Highly scalable.

Zero downtime upgrade.

Technical support is good as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automic Automation?

The product is constantly improving. The only thing is UI can be improved a bit in terms of zooming in/out. If having large number of jobs running in the same workflow and if you what see the execution graph. Scrolling through the box at the bottom is a bit complex, instead they can add a scroll bar. What problems is Automic Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its versatility makes it stand out and solve complex business problems. Highly stable and reliable tool to automate business workloads, be it retail, payroll, SAP or any other type of workload.

It has been helping our team to automate our ETL jobs on daily/weekly schedules, so we dont have to manually load data. Futhurmore, it notifies/sends mail to the business whenever job is completed and data is refreshed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
