What do you like best about Autodesk Vault?

Vault uses very secured levels of authentication (as configured by your organisation). Vault allows remote (gateways and vpns ), engineering data managment,tailored file acess, advanced purchase order mangement etc.

You dont need to worry about information leaks, clashes in design versions, design collaboration etc.

You can have a standard data-base built and manged in-house by the IT and engineering team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Vault?

Vault Setup and configuration requires expertise, some background in computer network, cloud and other computer administrative activities. You will struggle as a novice to set up a working server, especially in a complex working enviroment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Autodesk Vault solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use vault Professional to author product development related projects.

One way it helped me, was that It made it very feasible to create and store iterations of my protyope.

The thin client aso ensured i can initiate data management via the web, as well as to share, and recive review fronm the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
