What we like best about Autodesk Forma is how it lets us build AI-driven capabilities directly on top of an open, cloud-native data model — three of our four platforms (BuildNova AI, Buildings AI, and TwinOS) integrate with Forma today. Its early-stage design and site-planning tools make it easy to bring simulation and compliance intelligence upstream, before costly decisions are locked in. The API-first architecture means our agents can read and write data without disrupting how our customers' engineers already work in Forma. It's genuinely one of the more integration-friendly platforms we've built on in the Autodesk ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main friction we've experienced is around documentation depth and consistency for newer API endpoints — as Forma's capabilities expand quickly, integration guidance sometimes lags behind. We've also seen some feature parity gaps between regions/markets, which complicates rollout for global customers. Rate limits and sandbox/testing environment availability could be more generous for partners building production-grade integrations at our scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
