It is a file repository system for collabarative file sharing, drawing review, schedule, RFI's and Submittals, BIM model view and clash detection as well as tender and cost management plus more. Using the software is fairly intuitive and easy to learn. Implementing the software went fairly well however it was done in a staged manner over a long period. **What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?** As an end user there probably isn't much to dislike. Some areas of improvement could be the drawing markup and measuring capabalities. This is fairly weak in comparison to what Bluebeam software can do. As a company who purchases the software, I think Autodesk should provide free training on how to use every module of the program that was purchased. Customer support is adequate however it feels like they need more direct and experienced people to handle technical questions on how the software should and can work. **What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Autodesk is helping solve the issues of collabarating by putting together everything in one tool. The feature I like best from ACC would be the easy access to the various models for swift reviews of details accompanied with the facility to take measurements directly from this also. Allows for easy cross checking while compiling bills of quantities and the like. I also like the drawing comparison feature which overlays two revisions with one another and highlights where the differences are. During the ever changing process within a live tender this is a life saver for ensuring we capture the design as it evolves. **What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?** RFI's. At present we need to raise an RFI in a seperate section of the system and upload/reference the drawings that have been reviewed as part of the RFI however, previously this was more seamless with the RFI's being noted against the drawings in question. **What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?** The largest problem we all face is typically collaboration between everyone involved in the project from the client down to the supply chain working on the ground. ACC is easy for everyone to access and is seamless between laptop and tablet so there is no need for anyone not to have access to everything they might need to deliver the project. It also ensures that everyone invlolved is working from the same information at all times which in theory should reduce exposure to risks within the design. ### 11. It's better to download a large file and use a PDF reader rather than click page to page as it loads. This is by far the one feature that I would like to see changed. It's great for looking at drawings but not to review paperwork documents like contracts. **What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?** The issues are used as an ongoing issue tracker for the whole team to use. You can assign issues to users and set dates as you'd expect. The RFIs are as expected as well and it helps to have this all in the same space. The email correspondence bit is excellent at storing emails as most of the time when trying to save to a drive they are not openable. This is great as it opens up just like an email chain right in the software. They assign an email address that can be CC'd into the emails or just forwarded to, a great feature. ### 13. Being able to control whop has access and what actions they can perform is a huge plus on top of having a platform to store andf manage data. Having a central location where everything is stored and accessed from is crucial in coordinating between many trades and partners that may not be able to join my companies network. I work in an environment where I have to collaborate with people from multiple countries, and ACC makes it a breeze. I can keep track of all the updates and changes to the models. The reviewing tools for the models and drawings are really easy to use, and it integrates with my Autodesk apps very well. A key advantage of ACC is its ability to enable individuals without extensive technical knowledge of 3D modeling tools to use the platform effectively. I have yet to explore all the features that ACC offers. **What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?** I haven't faced any major issues with ACC, but there are still a couple of minor ones that I've come across. When publishing 3D models from Revit, any CAD underlay linked to the model won't be properly visible in the ACC model. Another issue is the long waiting time when publishing large models. If the model is large and there are many linked Revit models, then publishing takes a considerable amount of time, which is somewhat expected. **What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work as a Substation Layout Design Engineering Manager. We use Revit as the tool for 3D modeling the substation. I manage a team in which people are working from various countries. Since the substations are huge and require a lot of people to work on the model at the same time, keeping track of all the changes is really important. ACC really helps me in this aspect. I can easily review the 3D models, find out what has been added and removed, mark up the drawings while reviewing, and ensure every issue is addressed before finalizing the design. ### 40.
