Atlan is like having a single place where everyone can actually find and understand the data they need without bugging the data team every five minutes. The cataloging and search are really intuitive, and the way it connects across your whole stack — dbt, Snowflake, Tableau, whatever you're using — means you get lineage and context right where you need it. It genuinely changed how people discover and trust data across the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the more advanced features can feel a bit clunky to set up, and the learning curve for getting the full value out of it isn't trivial — you really need someone championing it internally to drive adoption or it just becomes another tool people ignore. Also, the pricing and packaging can be a bit opaque, which makes it hard to plan ahead when you're trying to scale usage across a larger team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
