What do you like best about Asana?

We work with a handful of freelance writers and used to just get invoices emailed whenever, no real system, so I'd occasionally lose track of who'd actually been paid that month. Set up a simple project where each freelancer gets a recurring task tied to their invoice due date, and I mark it paid once it's done. Sounds basic but going from "hope I remembered" to an actual checklist has meant zero late payments since we started, which used to happen more than I'd like to admit. What do you dislike about Asana?

Freelancers obviously do not have access to see their own task, so if one asks whether I have gotten their invoice, I still have to go check and reply manually instead of them just seeing status themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?

Freelancer payments used to depend entirely on me remembering, which is a bad system when you are juggling a handful of different people and schedules. The recurring task setup fixed that specifically, I have got an actual checklist now instead of mental note. Freelancers not having visiblity into it themselves in a minor gap, but for internal tracking on our end, it's solved the actual problem we had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
