"Asana Keeps Event Vendor Planning Organized and Searchable"

5/5

What do you like best about Asana?

We run a couple of internal company events a year and every single time it was fifteen different email threads with vendors, catering, venue, AV, you name it, and finding one specific reply meant scrolling forever. Built out a project in Asana with a section per vendor, each with its own tasks and deadlines, and now everything's in one place I can actually search intead of digging through my inbox. The calendar view specifically has helped catch when two vendor deadlines land the same day, which used to blindside me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Got a bit overboard with sections at first, split things so granularly that finding a specific task meant clicking through more folders than it should've. Had to consolidate a few sections together after realising that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?

Event planning used to mean living in my inbox for weeks trying to keep fifteen vendor conversastions straight. Having it all as one searchable project instead has cut down a lot of the "wait what did they say again" moments. Over-organising into too many sections early on was a self-inflicted mess, but simplifying that fixed it fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
