"Asana Connects Daily Tasks to Big Goals with Timeline Clarity."

4.5/5

What do you like best about Asana?

I love how Asana provides an obvious connection between day-to-day tasks and objectives of the whole project. One may assign owners, set dependencies, set up milestones and use the Timeline function to see how a delay of one stage will affect the other ones. Comments, approvals, attachments, and history of the task will provide the project context without spreading everything through emails and meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

The tool works worse when teams don't keep it updated — there might be outdated deadlines and unupdated task info that will mislead our dashboards. Large projects have many subtasks and notifications, and therefore we had to establish rules regarding the structure and communication within a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the key challenges we faced was the coordination of work across several teams and lack of clarity of ownership. The tool provides a unified view of what needs to be done, deadlines, blockers and dependencies. Managers can easily identify stuck items without constantly asking for updates and contributors know what step to take next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
